Trade chat cannot be efficient way to trade anyway: buyer and seller has to be online and not in fight at the same time. It is too harsh or those who does not have tons of playtime and want to spend it playing the game.
I love to optimise my gear, to think what is best/so-so/worst for my toons - it is part of the game for me. Be a watchdog of trade chat instead of doing something interesting would kill a game for me. BTW, any kind of better organised trade will decrease current prices, but I consider it as a huge improvement over current situation, not disadvantage. |

" Ofc every solution who organizes the trade system a little bit will also effect the economy. And like you I don't think it would be so bad at all, as long as the prices only drop slightly. I think this suggestion offers that and everyone will be happy to find the stuff they are looking for. :) |

I like it. I generally turn off trade chat. But If I can keep it open for a few filters, I would.

" Thanks man, I appreciate support. :) " Yep, that's what this idea is about. People do fear that other don't see their offers because of the filter. But actually this idea enables people to watch the (cleared/filtered) tradechat while fighting/grinding. Most people just turn of the tradechat while doing so, but with the filter system I think MANY people would turn it on and buy equipment/gems/etc even if they are fighting/grinding. :) Last edited by AceNightfire#0980 on Mar 21, 2013, 5:08:10 AM

I really do like the idea. Especially that I can keep my trade chat running while killing stuff and being able to see what I'm interested in. I often have the feeling to miss all the good stuff I really need or want to have in the tradechat because it is so incredible cluttered... With this I wouldn't miss those things!
