BSOD with only POE

BSOD with PoE only here also. Never had it in closed beta and not what I can remember in open beta except for today. Today I got three in a row. GGG, you must have broken something recently?

" BSOD have always been there for me. They are not as frequent anymore but still there, as well as client crashes and disconnects. Only for this game. I am playing and have played much more demanding games without a single error on this computer. Never had BSOD and client crashes with any MMO. Each and every bit of software on my system is checked for updates regularly. The best thing about posting these crashes is when we get constantly insulted by other players who are more fortunate with their performance. Apart from feeling helpless, since the problems stem from the game and there's no guarantee we'll ever get a possible fix, there's always this very annoying problem with conceited, insolent fools around here who's only goal is to cause trouble. | |

Hello , im a recent player of PoE , started playing the game a few days ago but watching streams with it for quite some time. I am another "proud" owner of a creative soundblaster X-Fi with obsolete drivers because everyone knows how creative support is with older soundcards. I got a nice BSOD while trying to alt+tab , I might add that this was my only BSOD in the past 2 years, after searching google I found this thread and a few others. Is there a fix for this soundcard ? or will it be fixed what is there to do ?

i figure out how to stop blue Screens permanently! i read about it here: AllAround.cc PoE blueScreen WorkAround 1st: get new Drivers form January 2013 you see it cause they have a A on end of filename! 2nd: get Alchemy 2rd: install both and restart your System. 4th: Use Alchemy to get Path of Exile running with OpenAL! enjoy the game with out any BSOD! with best +DS_DV+ PS: for detailed instruction look at my Forum at: AllAround.cc Last edited by DS_DV on Jan 31, 2013, 6:53:54 AM

I use a creative x-fi card and I've never had a bsod. Only related to my AMD video card drivers based on the minidump I looked at. Weird.

Ok, trid new (15A) drivers and Alchemy.
No bsod for now. | |
