(HC/SC) Facebreaker + Cyclone - Fists of Fury Duelist [Videos Included]

Started my second attempt at a Facebreaker yesterday, lovin him so far. Was originally a Marauder which most considered the best choice for this build. In light of the recent Duelist changes, however, I recreated him. Well worth the re-level.

Current Gear
Spoiler

I'd really like a Meginord's Girdle but they seem expensive and I'm pretty poor at the moment. Upgrades are much slower than any other build I've played but this is much more interesting.

Edit: Just picked up a Meginord's Girdle. With the right gear, this can be you: http://imgur.com/o8Zj3LR

Build Details

Running Purity and Wrath. My primary is Infernal Blow with Added Fire, Melee Physical, and Mana Leech. If not for Mana Leech, I wouldn't be able to sustain consistent attacks and run the 2 auras.

Hoping for some gear upgrades soon. Any suggestions/improvements would be much appreciated.

I play HC exclusively, so yes this build is designed to work in HC.
Does increased duratation affect dominating blow?

And wouldnt infernal blow beat frenzy?

Infernal blow was originally used in facebreaker builds because it was the closest thing they had to an AoE ability.

My reasoning for using Frenzy was that it increases your attack speed by using it, and it deals all physical damage, which monsters tend to be less resistant to. Infernal blow, on the other hand, deals partly fire damage, and many of the enemies are resistant to elements.

I'll do some testing though and see which ability does more DPS in different situations.

I would assume that increased duration would work with Dominating Blow, but I'll see if that works as well.

Edit: Frenzy is far better than Infernal blow as a single target DPS early on, but infernal blow will out-shine it late-game unless you invest heavily in increased frenzy charges.

Frenzy at level 1 deals 110% of physical damage, and adds +4% damage and +5% speed per charge. On level up, Frenzy will give you slightly increased attack speed and damage per charge.

Infernal Blow at level 1 deals 50% physical damage and 50% fire damage. The skill gains +4% damage per level, ending at +76% damage at level 20.

Tl:dr, use frenzy at the beginning while leveling infernal blow, and then swap out frenzy for infernal blow when the damage is better, keeping in mind a lot of enemies are fire resistant, but not as resistant to physical damage.

Hmm I see. Might end up just using infernal blow, frenzy uses so much mana ><, might hook it up with a blood magic gem tho. Ill decide when cyclone eventually comes out.

Thanks again!

The Cyclone skill is coming out tomorrow. Less than 24 hours to go. =)

Edit: I've also been told that base weapon speed does affect the DPS of Cyclone.

@fire99966 If you use the skill gems that are recommended, by late-game you shouldn't have mana issues. Until then though, it might be a bit rough relying on frenzy with mana. So yeah, it might be a good idea to link it to blood magic in the mean time.

Of course, there's always the option to just default attack everything to death.

lost an opportunity to get 1-4 + 9-15 Iron ring, 30dex, 71hp
because I WAS not willing to pay more -.-
Should have known the value of that in the future.
I guess that's the highest add phy dmg ring I found, what about yours?

I can't find any huge damage rings for this build, I did find some relatively nices ones though:

Just by crafting alone I started with 1-4 iron rings and worked my way up to 15+ physical rings by the time I was level 64.
