Wonder if it works with Life on Hit or Life Leech. Then you could go unwavering stance + iron reflexes. Dual wield claws for incredible life gain and some movement speed bonus for extra win.

I don't see why it shouldn't work with LoH / Leech.

Im gonna start this build as a 2h leap marauder, you know. Incase cyclone fails. If it works Ill just go 2h cycloner.

Won't 2h cycloning have a higher dps than facebreaker cycloning?

I use Whirling Blades a lot and I am sure Cyclone will be just like it and other skills like Sweep in that it has its own speed and the base speed of the weapon doesn't matter.

It does encourage using slow hard hitting weapons; for WB I generally go for the slowest Claws.

Can't use a 2H with WB, but with Cyclone I can see it being a big advantage; we will have to see the exact numbers on it though because there are a couple of things that could change this.

The 10% speed bonus from DW might make DW more attractive, particularly if Cyclone interacts with DW like Dual Strike or Cleave, but GGG doesn't seem too keen on making DW very good so I wouldn't bet on it.

Another important consideration is the damage multiplier - WB has an 80% multiplier and then gives a physical damage bonus as it levels which makes elemental mods less appealing.

Being the pessimist I expect Cyclone will have a low base multiplier so that it works best with 2H and slow 1H weapons with big base physical damage and will suck with DW small fast weapons :-/

If you get flat physical damage increases with facebreaker, It will beat 2h weapons easily. Unless you have a godly 2H weapon, they won't even come close to the unarmed damage :) The only downside is of course losing quite a few gear slots. But remember, you're hitting enemies with your fists! lol

It depends on how it scales with IAS. I'm assuming unarmed attacks has a base of 1 aps and getting all the physical damage on gear and the gloves limits your IAS on gear (including the big one of weapon).

I think you are jumping to conclusions on many factors while knowing little to nothing about the skill mechanics. I'd really wait until you can test it before doing anything beyond generic.
Finished 17th in Rampage - Peaked at 11th
Finished 18th in Torment/Bloodline 1mo Race - peaked at 9th

Hope facebreaking with cyclone would be viable endgame map farming.

I wonder if we could throw in righteous fire in there. Adds onto the DPS and take out some of the element auras and replace with vitality.

Righteous Fire gives more spell damage, and it is very unlikely that Cyclone will be a spell and instead be considered a physical attack. However if it is considered a spell, this could work quite well.
Bump.

Where do you get this information from?

where can I find this information?

I like the idea, but i have a few questions. (i have never used FaceBreaker before[playing since 2011])

I tried Facebreaker(963%) today, and i dont really have this "insane amount of damage".
With Facebreaker my damage is 200 (lvl42) with 1handed weapon its ~450. I have the same skill tree that you adviced.

So my question: This build will only work with 3-4 uniq items? Without those just forget it?

Why not get Leather and Steel, even if you use only armor, that +% movement speed +24% armor is not that bad i think.
