Update your skill tree bro!

THIS BUILD IS NOT YET DEAD!
Help me theorize about this guys... we can still run multiple auras if we get our heads into it. I have made (or tried to make) an updated Skill tree for this build. I have followed this build to the dot, it has grown on me and I have progressed quite well with this build. I just wanna see it through. So, with the new patch/official release whatever (where they fucked this build up so much) I've tried to update the skill tree progression. I'm very familiar with the old skill tree progression made by this awesome guy SD_Cleave and I've tried to take all the major nodes he took. I have opted to get a few cheap nodes that were right there, like the little elemental resistances near the beginning en route to berserking. I've also taken Gallantry + 2nodes before it to compensate for the very far away Ambidexterity. The major ones would be Iron Reflex, Resolute Technique and Inner Force. I have tried my best to get those, those were an integral part of the skill tree by the TS but now I have added Unwavering Stance, its right there, perfectly accessible and smacked near 2 12% life nodes perfect to get. I dont remember the TS getting Unwavering stance in the old skill tree. (maybe im wrong) I would like to ask you guys for your input and anything you can say about this build, please help me out. I am in too deep with this build, its the first guide i followed with full trust, its actually the guide that ultimately pushed me to play PoE because of how detailed it was, I mean look at his post. Most Major Point.... So basically, this patch kills people that run multiple auras. But I'm a resistant cock-monger and I am looking to find a way around (good luck to me). I have a few ideas but its going to require a few more items, but i dont care. run a few on hp, and use as much -reserve mana items like the alpha wolf hood would be a good addition to the build. but i think it could work even without it. running a couple on hp and possibly run at least 3 or 4 auras on mana. so were looking at like 5-6 auras.. good enough. I don't know how much INT you need to run lvl20 auras, but if the int doesnt cover, i can loop around that route to templar tree instead of going straight in the middle on that dex node and get a few more int nodes and maybe even elementalist coz I love elemental resistance. I took Sovereignity, making overall reduced mana reservation to 16%. on the old tree, he only took 2x 5% nodes. I dont really know anything about this yet. but i am hoping, just hoping, hoping hoping hoping it works. 60% mana reserve - 16% = 44%, that could possibly make you run 2 auras on mana, and maybe throw in clarity and purity. There are a 6 points left to fill after we respec the 2 mana flows nodes late game, the original guide did the same. so with 6 points, we could possible get thick skin node near iron reflex. or if u want more damage, then get other damage nodes. etcetc... Here is a 1.0 version of the skill tree, note that you will only be able to run 3 auras on mana and the rest will have to be run on HP which I really don't recommend.

" ??? You started on the scion tree... |
|
" Yes, it's the only way to get extra reduced mana reservation nodes to make it possible to run 3 auras on mana, unless you use uniques. Scion is the way to go for an aura-heavy build in 1.0. IGN Samzong

Alternatively, you can use BM and reserve all your HP. What made this build so strong was that you could put your % auras on your mana and the fixed-cost auras on your large HP pool. Now that auras are all % based, it's really hard to go aura-heavy unless you have Shavronne's chest
I really don't want to play a life-based character and reserve a % of my HP for auras. For this reason, I think 3 auras on mana is the optimal way to play this build now. IGN Samzong Last edited by Samzung#0581 on Oct 23, 2013, 7:33:15 PM

" I see, good idea though. you had some good routes on that one, i revised my routes from what i saw on ur tree. but since this is a duelist build. I'll just have to make do with what I can reach. Those nodes on the Scion's right side is pretty nice but is faaar away for a duelist. I think having 16% reduced mana reserved (from soveregnity) + reduced mana gem will be enough to run like 5-6 auras which is good enough for me. 7 auras will be pushing it too far. |

60*0.84*0.71=35.784
Round that up to 36 2 auras will use up 72% of your mana and you won't be able to run a third one. If you wanted to run a third one on your HP, you'll reserve about 70% of your HP. Your build DOES NOT WORK It is possible to run 4 auras on mana if you get 42% reduced mana reservation or greater. To do this, you must pick every reduced reservation node on the tree apart from a 4% node, this will bring down the reservation to 24.708% which will round up to 25%. So at most, you can run this build with 4 auras. IGN Samzong Last edited by Samzung#0581 on Oct 23, 2013, 7:46:55 PM

" Ohhhh okay. i ddnt know % mana reservation translates into % HP. zzzz.... then this is utterly fucked. I guess you can still run 3 auras on mana with purity still being 40%, wiki says 60% but gems in-game atm reserve only 40%. and the only aura ull be able to run on hp is clarity since its the only gem not % based. oooohhhhkaaayyy. fucked it is... check this revised version of the scion thing u made. it looks good. http://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAAAgABtz7GrjwtxPYn7fPdrKpyqRku1I-53fIv7w7nUlRJXz_2SIzPUFBYY8bYWfPAGmaekFWnhBo47DhX4jKJBLPwH6IAFE360hcvNunjaiSqGYUdFI9G0NDPZVXGFm-nCLiTDH0Qf8ae_gryRedjiPGsWTrhplc1kjGegwlvnspKwzqbtRmK-wn22hqPRnHhiDsoA5ZuPWBDd-X-j03jfNk11kUK9Ma-vLXyqW54DR2qvooB3KQZG_ol34TZWNtT35uDhO907XrvYEsFLV6fXhMbyEMxtkFOKimlWK826AHnn8unMBQgUEdk51XWgKRlTUd- Last edited by schizophrenicpanic#5923 on Oct 23, 2013, 7:52:13 PM
