You dont, you just need good resists gear, bringer of rain is fine, its cheaper way than 6l chest. but i prefer my 20lvl quality gems.

Hi all, I am having trouble socketing per the original post build. This is because I have the Bringer of Rain. Please critique my build/gear choices:

I am having trouble with maps unless I use life leech. So I can't use added fire DMG gem in my helm. Also cannot see how I can run 7 auras..? I can run 6 currently. I wanted to go into mara tree for added survivability, but I already have 4.2k Life. I don't see myself reaching level 84 quickly enough. I was going to add into the Sword Physical DMG nodes, and Physical DMG/Block nodes next. Is this good? I'm unsure because of my survivability solo'ing maps ATM.

Please help with my next gear choices/passive skill tree choices! As well as providing critique for my gear/skill tree.

That is the main reason why I am looking at BoR, cuz on my Witch I spent like 3ex on a 5L with really good stats but to find a good 4L helmet costs another 3ex. So instead of paying 6ex or more on my Duelist, I rather just have BoR. I know my DPS won't be insane, but it doesn't need to be cuz I always map in a party, so I won't deal damage alone.

All right, carnage and BoR checked. What unique shield would be the best for me? Prism Guardian?

DW would be better than a shield, just go DW and get lots of HP nodes

My resistances will be low, that is why I thought it would be smart to compensate with a shield. But I guess the focus should be to overheal the damage, like a barb in D3. All right, DW it is. There are no unique 1 hand axes, so Rebuke of the vaal is the best sword. 2 of those would be great.

Rare swords/axes are better than uniques. You can get lots of resists on helmet, gloves, amulet, boots, belt, rings, etc

I know rares are better, but they are much more expensive than these uniques that I have in mind. A weapon with 100+% physical dmg and attk speed will go for over 3ex, armor that has Tri-res will also go for over 3ex, even when it has low ES/armor/Eva. The only rares that my witch has is the chest/wand/boots and those 3 combined prob costed me 6ex, every other slot are uniques.

For this melee toon the two 1 handed will be too much, which is why I'm thinking of getting uniques. The rebukes go for like 1ex, and I can prob haggle it down to like 10GCP or so.
