He definitely has more then 11% increased phys, I assume you had a typo. Btw flyyy on your build you used 2 skill points to get to thick skin when you only needed to use 1. I for one don't care about Regen at all, seems overrated and pointless to me =/.

Haha yeah I noticed a few things wrong with the build after I posted it. But it should be fixed now. I've loved regen ever since my first BM mau. It's nice survivability and only makes sense with anything above 200% hp. And yes the 11% was a type I meant 112.4%.

Just out of curiosity what level are you? I only have 1.5% Regen cause of golem's blood which I'm kind of forced to take. I do level 70+ Maps easily without regen, so never seen the need for it that's why I'll never go into the Marauder tree.

I'm only level 50 on my duelist right now but I've played a 2H/BM regen mau before and loved the regen it's nice if you're fighting bosses and run out of flasks lol. That's the main reason I like it so much.

One question: Are you confident in skipping all endurance charge? I found that even with 16k armor (granite running) if i miss my endurance cry i'm more prone to dieing that with 7 charges and 5k armor.
If i want to be tanky i find that 35% flat reduction pretty appealing (3base + 2 passive +1 reward + 1 item which is debatable i know) and i highly appreciate the sinergy between armor and endurance.

Nice but the only issue I have with your build is it only has 112.4% increase phys which is bad since you're not going ele cleave. Also by not going through the marauder tree you bypassed so much life regen. I see what you were trying to accomplish though by going through the middle of the tree to get the circle of life nodes there but unfortunately you only have 202% hp increase where as if you go through the marauder tree you with have 205% + more life regen ( alot more ) hence better survivability.

You also have to consider that I only used 74 points compared to the 96 points in your build, which leaves 22 points to spend somewhere depending on preference.

I like this build as it is similar to the builds I have been pondering the last days. I will post a slightly alternate version of it.

This build does not take Iron Reflexes and hence not Unwavering Stance. I also removed some damage nodes to make it more accesable at a lower level, especially Sword only nodes since with Resolute Technique I do not need accuracy and cannot crit. Finally I went for Templar health nodes instead of Maraduder health nodes. This build uses 19 points less than the original build, which may be spent in many places depending on preferences.

EDIT: Now with the correct version of the build.

Correct version of the puild (74 points)

Hey Crass77, thanks for feedback, well.. when i started using this build ofc i didnt rush my Unwavering Stance. But u will need that end game. There is something interesting about this node cuz many ppl think and say that only boss can stun you:
http://en.pathofexilewiki.com/wiki/Stun

About Iron Reflexes, if u will use only armor gear dont take this node however.. end game Grace aura will give u 1200 evasion which is extra 1200 armor. I think its a good deal :)
If u dont go IR and u have some evasion in ur gear u should spend some nodes for evasion rating(but there is no Big one node for this so..).
Also i took IR cuz i have nice two nodes near there which give me 8% move speed and 18% dmg, 4% as.
Your build is fine and pretty common, focus on hp nodes as in almost every build.

I should have add progresson tree, because i didnt take these phys dmg nodes when i started. I wanted some hp first then dmg.
About maurader tree i like those nodes because i can take almost same hp and pick 30% reduction from crits.

@flyyy, crits are fine and very good late game, i was thinking about it too but you need a lot of crits + crit multiply, accuracy to make it work.
Your build has only 125% crit chance and 16% increased Accuracy Rating. It looks almost same to mine build, same hp but, 125% crit chance will give u like 15% crit chance to ur swords. It isnt good deal i think also u dont have enought accuracy to always hit, thats why i decided to go RT and focus on dmg. Hope u understand but thanks for feedback :)

@Zeldoon
Hmm i think u are right, going for regen nodes is for lazy ppl like me who prefer dont use pots that much :P
Hovewer as i said i like 30% crit reduction and templar nodes give me almost same hp like maurader + i have extra nodes to spend for something else not going top side from maura tree

@Mrmorph, i skipped endurance charges cuz i will get +1 Maximum Endurance Charge on Merci.
I was watching nugi stream and he didnt have problems with 70lvl maps and he had like 3,5k hp and no endurance charges in passive tree. I know u are melee but i prefer my normal endurance charges for now + Decoy Totem and Enfeeble or Temporal Chains, its enought for me :)

Ok, thanks for all feedbacks, hope u understand my explanations.
Im gonna take a break now and update guide in few hours i will add progression passive tree and maybe something else.

`Duelist forever!

Yeah I understand but I have a lot of gear with accuracy life resist and mana on it so I'm going to be hitting a lot anyways and with life regen i wont need life steal or loh (i still get the passive blood drinker life steal node though) also instead of clarity I use wurms belt for the passive 2% life and mana steal. It gives me enough int to use wrath and other equipment. I know it's not a lot of crit but I have two really high crit swords that i'm going to be running late game so my build sync well with my gear, that's why I chose to not go RT or BM, also waht is IF?

I have gear with life, resist and mana too.
Also i droped yesterday wurms belt too, 2% dmg leech and 2% mana leech is nice for duelist.
About IF i made mistake there, i meant IR (Iron Reflexes) - i was talking about why i went for that.
Ok i gonna play now, need to lvlup my char!

I updated the guide so check it out!

How does crit mechanic work for monsters?
