I don't know, man. I just think a 4L Flame Totem + Knockback + LMP + Fast Cast + 8% HP would give a lot better defenses than 5%.

I also don't like using Enduring Cry, so that might just bias.

Static blows instead crit chance and alchemist. Took other road to get to bottom. Managed to grab elemental adaptation and diamond skin.

I dont think static blows goes well with this build.
Unlike other attacks, RoA only hits once per attackcycle, and since i am not going for a lot of attackspeed but a very hard hitting slow attack instead, static blows makes little to no sense.
Whites are pretty much instagib, even most blues are instagib, the only thing that survives for a few hits are rares, and if i crit they are instagib aswell.
I dont see how i would ever be able to shock anything before they die except for high level cinder elementals, which is nice and all, but the 1 attack per attackcycle means that it is not even better than me critting them to death.
If you want static blows, go for attacks that hit a lot per attackcycle, and additional attackspeed on top of that.

Second problem: if you respec alchemist, you wont be able to sustain your health with just your first flask (the amount of healing is almost halved), which means you will have to use lifeleech instead of added fire, which means less dps.
The intention of getting static blows is to increase dps, but without added fire you will deal less damage.

Overall i would say that static blows synergizes very well with fast hitting attacks (that hit multiple times per attack cycle, like LA with lmp + chain) and synergizes rather poorly with slow attacks that only hit once per attack cycle.
Considering how shock duration is based off damage dealt vs monster's hp, shock duration with RoA+WED+Conc (228.15% damage effectiveness per hit) will have much longer duration shocks compared to LA-LMP-Chain-WED (44.1% damage effectiveness per hit) builds.

Also because of the high damage per hit, you will be able to shock bosses/rares whereas a LA build would not be able to do so, unless with elemental hit that rolls lightning.

The duration doesnt matter for a RoA build since they instantly die to a crit.
Even without crits they die in 2-3 shots. (champions).
As you already pointed out yourself, a single hit from RoA deals a shit ton of damage, critting for 4 times the amount with such an attack means the end for anything, even high fire resistance targets.
A shock stack only increases the damage by 40%, which is not going to make you faceroll high fire resistance targets like cinder elementals at all, you will have to keep shooting them several times even after the shock has been applied already.
A critical strike deals with them in a single blow.

It is correct that the duration of the shock ailment is much shorter on fast hitting attacks that hit for a lower amount, but the fast attackspeed and high number of attacks means that you triple shock very fast and therefore reach the average damage increase of static blows pretty much in every fight.
This is not true for slow, hard hitting attacks that can 1 shot whites with a single shot, and 2-3 shot blues without critting.
Most of the time you wont see a benefit at all because the targets die so fast.

The only scenario where you can see a benefit out of crit/shock (with a hard hitting RoA build that is based on blackgleam) is against high life fire resistance champion/rares).
A crit deals with them in a single blow, while the shock does not.
Static blows is just too far away and too inefficient with slow/hard hitting RoA that it is not very beneficial to this build.
Based on your build, yea, static blows is far away. I can easily grab it on my EB RoA marauder build, but have no intentions on that either. Would rather grab more aoe nodes. Its gonna be funny when I get that new aoe chest armor, + blast radius + amplify.
There's like 14 6L Lioneye's Bows on Default on poe.xyz.is, why don't you buy 1? do you not have the currency?

Thats a very good bow.
Due to the critchance on it enhancing the base critchance of the bow (thus making your modifiers scale off a better base) it could very well already be better than a lioneyes.

As for why im not getting a bow.
I have not been playing PoE for about a month or more now (sometimes i log in to trade something), due to how the ultra endgame is too much of a currency sink for solo players.
I used like 10 exalteds worth of currency on my 75+ maps, and still dropped to 73 again.
I wont start playing my high level character again unless something about the endgame currency sink is changed.
Due to that, i decided to not get any item upgrades because im just not playing right now.
When i finally come back i will probably get a very good rare bow (more dmg than lioneyes).
gh0un, thanks for this build. Its extremely fun. I am doing it at level 61 atm.
I wanted to ask you what you think about poison arrow.
I picked it up while leveling. I am running RoA via Bloodmagic, but before attacking the mobs, I shoot one or two poison arrows from the small rest of my mana pool. Right now my RoA does 1.4 k dps and poison sais 900 dps. This has helped me to kill hard mob groups that I cant tank yet. Then again this might be irrelevant to you because you do much more dps and dont really need a nother AOE on top.
