Any ETA on fixing these ridiculous AMD FPS drops? (e: Nvidia cards affected as well!)

this basically sums it up. GGG has officially denied that their game has issues with amd cards.
its funny how i plug in a geforce 8600gt and it performs better that my radeon 4850 in a way that it doesnt have those micro-freezes when certain particles occur. generally the fps on the 8600gt is way worse ofc, but its consistant and with no micro-stutters. i could just get a nvidia card but as im planning to get an entirely new rig later this year i dont see the point.
this entire issue just stinks of laziness on GGG side.

No offence but this seems like a poor excuse. Should players just not touch any graphics option at all then to try help fix the existing problems? I know and appreciate that the devs are doing the best they can to improve the game across the board but personally I would just want some assurance that this actually is a priority with even just 1 person working on this rather than assigning someone qualified to fix this to a new microtransaction gimmick.

We can’t control those settings easily, and have posted on the forums about what types of settings they should not make system-wide changes to.

I want to try anything to help my card run smoothly!
I've uninstalled catalyst panel and dont use it,but still no helped!
The answer from Brian Weissman make me so sad...
They look like dont know the problem at all......

The issue is pretty obvious. The engine has a problem with handling large amounts of particle effects at once, same goes for lightning calculations and high polygon counts.
To be honest i don't know if this is a licence engine or a selfmade one, but if it's a licence engine, it was clearly designed for smth different.
