It's not hate so much as mocking imaginary currency I think. Bitcoins have no inherent value, do they? Seems like asking GGG to accept exalted orbs for supporter pack purchases.

" crypto currencies are a bubble and a scam. massively wasting energy as a means to secure transactions was a stupid idea to begin with. currency released by a government is always secure if (like in the US) that government owns the currency. a government which indebts itself in the currency it issues itself, can never fail to pay in that currency in any height. bitcoin has a natural limit for coins in circulation. for governmental money it's not neccessary that people "trust the currency" cause the government raising taxes (under penalty if you refuse to pay) makes sure that the currency is used. bitcoin solely builds upon people trusting that you can get goods for using it. as soon as a government turns against bicoin (as china lately did) the bubble busts. bitcoin is a fashion hype, nothing more. age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!

" Most micro transactions in video games also have no inherent value. You would think people that purchase virtual goods would understand where crypto currency gets it value from better than anyone, but I guess not...btw lots of people purchase exalts with real money. Well, if bitcoins are a stable currency then taking them to a bank or paypal to convert them to real money to purchase supporter packs shouldn't be a problem.

OP, even if that wasn't an option, you can just sell your Bitcoin via one of the real money exchanges to obtain hard currency, and then pay GGG with that.
