How do we Survive instant buy bots ? Oh yes, Its real.
This is with high ticket items In leagues, there are people manipulating prices by setting an item at low price and using bots to buy up the low priced ones using poe live . they are gone within 30-40 seconds of item being put up.
As an average player i like the idea of being able to work towards my goals making currency . But the ridiculous market manipulation along with the usage of Instant buy bots that run 24/7 to swap up low/fair priced items is way too much to deal with. I am not talking about currency flippers or over priced sales of items. This is sheer manipulation with automation without any chance for other human players to compete. How does this affect you? Not being flippant, genuine question.
Also, do you have evidence that automation is involved? Again, genuine question. It absolutely wouldn't surprise me if people were botting for this sort of thing, but equally a human is perfectly capable of sending a buy message within five seconds of the item being put up for sale. Have you done something awesome with Sire of Shards? PM me and tell me all about it!

If you're goal was to get the best items in the game at a great deal...
ya gonna have a bad time |

" This affects me because ive been trying to buy a certain item for a while now. It was the case with my friend too with a similar item. I do have evidence and it has been submitted. Cant disclose the evidence. But if you look at high ticket items you will get the picture of what i am talking about. Domine Non Es Dignus

" NO, My goal was to get the item at fair market value as listed on poe.ninja or something close to it. First , The market value is being manipulated on poe.trade But the average value and its median deviance by historic sale data is clear. Second, the accounts from various sellers who sold that item account for multiple whispers and invites at the same few second. But every single time? At various different times through out the week this for the same item? A quite a bit of incriminating apparently visible evidence of Seemingly "Group of flippers" . I've had my friends also try to buy the same item for me at various times that i have not . they all experienced the same thing. I can understand dedicated group manipulating prices , often exalts and high end items are manipulated like stock market. But the issue is not the manipulation its the use of bot programs to make that instant buys Domine Non Es Dignus

What is this item and what is the price you want to pay for it?
|

" take your pick , pick a high ticket item that you need , try to buy it at fair , average market value ( if not a little bit more ) but when you find you are unable to buy that item and the only ones actively selling the item is 150% more priced. This has nothing to do with supply / demand. When you use automated programs to buy up items for cheap and over price them to sell but still maintain multiple accounts with same item for sale ( but never actually selling )to maintain the average price . All the while manipulating first pages of the item listing on search to grab the item at lowest possible price with bots. Domine Non Es Dignus

Half the reactions in this thread should give you a hint op. Most people playing this game nowadays do not care about either rmt or bots.
They will blame it on you or your lack of skill in trading instead.Say things like : -why does it bother you op? -play ssf op This is poe post 2.0 casual fest. yes op there are some trade bots. Having ripped 3 time in HC and went to sc instead I too discovered them in sc also all those tabula bots in town too. Those insta sell&trade bots having level 1 HO and low level characters with automated trade answers. They will add, trade and kick in their parties hundreds of players per hours. I witness those trade bots when I go in poe currency and contact sellers to change my fus for chaos for example. Those bots do that all days, adding people selling&trading ingame. None care anymore op, gone is the time people would complain about it. So listen to the wise men op and play SSF, blind your own eyes to forget this game and the players who lives in it had once some values. DO not forget to stay intown to show your mtx op, this also help to game somehow. Poe Pvp experience https://youtu.be/Z6eg3aB_V1g?t=302 Last edited by Head_Less#6633 on Jan 19, 2018, 4:13:44 AM
