[0.10.4] ashgod's physical bow guide

Nice guide brah, much kudos and props to you for going into the time and effort to create a thread for the community.

I hope to put it to good use ;)
I really like your video which goes nicely with the song (Dried Lake map)

Very interesting style... I wish you were on HC though... or a guide to exist like this one but for HC since everyone on HC are LA spammers

This build reminds me of a video I watched a a week ago by Feels - but found out there are no Diamond flasks in game anymore...

Naive question, if you take resolute techniques, aren't surgeon's flasks rendered useless?
Or does the flask still fill up with crits thar should be but are not being registered.
@Chundler
Thanks a lot mate, appreciate your positive feedback. Make sure to get back here if you got any questions!

@Trevasotilo
This build can be adapted to HC by picking up more Life nodes generally, which will lower the dps and increase the survivability. I know how you feel about the LA, hehe, one of the reasons I made this build aswell :)

@mqplideste
Yes, the Surgeon's mod is useless with RT. I should probably adjust my guide to note that. No questions are naive in this thread!

Hey, just wanted to say nice build, giving it a run right now and it's going smoothly at 53 so far.

I also wanted to ask what PLEASE what is the song in your bog video? :)

Lvl 80 builds w/ and w/o Lioneye's Glare are now updated to patch 0.10.2. I will update the build paths tomorrow when I get the time.

Only real change is that we're unable to pick up Armour Master now unfortunately. Have a good night guys!

"Leather and Steel" is just 4 points, do you think it's completely out of the question to get that? I seem to remember someone saying that the armor and evasion increasing talents only work for one of them with Iron Reflexes, I.E 8% to arm&eva only gives 8% to armor, not 16%. Is this your reasoning behind skipping it?

Also, do you know how much the MS is reduced by in general with descent armor? Would it be enough it to just pick up the 6% MS talent for 2 points near Iron Reflexes? Just for the added "I-need-to-gtfo-of-here-now" and/or kite speed?

A last thought, is granite flask's base armor enough to sustain through reflect? Is it not worth getting one with % armor increase?

Sorry if I'm asking too many questions at once, got to level 50 with this build and I'm quite excited.. :)

Thanks for your answer(s).
Cheers!

Edit/P.S. What would in your opinion be a good substitute for skelly totem? I know the worth if it, I use it on my EK, which is why I wanna do something else on this build. Besides, I don't much enjoy totems on fast paced builds. Would bear trap be enough to kite certain uniques perhaps? *cough* skeleton rhoa boss *cough* hah.

@ExiusJV
Thanks, I'm happy to hear you're doing well so far! Song in the Bog map is "Hardwell - Spaceman".

@HandsomeBear
It's definitely not out of the question getting Leather and Steel, it would however be at the cost of either damage or life. It's a question of priority, and I must say I enjoyed the freedom of choice when it came to armors along with max movement speed with the old Armour Master.. So definitely still worth considering spending 4 extra points on.

Not sure about how much different armors reduce movement speed, but I'm sure there's some formula somewhere on the internet. Too tired to look around atm though, it's closing in on 2am atm my place and I'm omw to bed :)

I felt the base armor from Granite Flask was enough, but you could definitely switch out one Quicksilver Flask for Granite Flask of the Iron Skin for the extra armor choice!

Hope my answers are fulfilling, otherwise shoot again!

Have a good night guys.

Snip.

Hm.. I think I will wait with investing in Leather and Steel until I start farming maps, to see if the extra movement speed is attractive enough.

Thanks for the fast reply.
Cheers!

P.S. (I edited my last post with yet another question!)

Great build Ashgod..my build is almost identical to yours except for one thing.
You could have your own reasoning but dont you think that on the path where you went up to get Iron Grip. Wouldnt it be better overall for you to just go up from BM and then get the 3 life nodes right by it? That would use up 10skill pts as well as going from where you went up and taking those 4 life nodes. You get 32% life from your way but all that useless dex with RT.
Other way you get 28%life but +50str which adds more life and damage.

Sorry if someone else brought this up earlier as I didnt read every single post.
@HandsomeBear
Well I guess Bear Trap could work, but on bosses it would make you spend more time running than shooting, so it's really up to you if you prefer doing so :D

@HaterClan
First of all, thank you!
Secondly, very good idea! I hadn't noticed the short way from there. I have editted the final build w/o L's G to follow your suggestioned road through the strength nodes :)
