Hmm, I actually saw a thread that said 5L is easier to get in a 5 socket item compared to a 6 socket one. Well I think my luck has been used up, trying to 5L this for a friend, so far, 146 fusings used with no 5L.

Eh that sounds rather silly to me.

I believe I remember hearing that the way it worked (or the proposed way it worked) was to 'roll' to generate the first chain of links (e.g. 30% chance no link, 40% chance 1 link, 20% chance 2 link, 8% chance 3 link, 1.9% chance 4 link, 0.1% chance 5 link), then after that chain (or lack of link) 'roll' for the remaining ones (ignoring values it can't get).

In this situation, a 6S has that 30% extra leeway in getting 5-Linked than a 5S would; meaning it'd be like a 2.5% chance instead of 1.9% chance, because a 5S would have only 1 shot, but the 6S could still get a 5L if it failed it's first chain (0 links).

In my previous post I said "individually" but that's wrong/misleading, and what I actually meant was this.

I used 320 jew to get 6 sockets.
first time i used 100 fusings got 1 5l and alot of 4l dont remember exactly
second time i used 480 got 5 times 5 link then a 6 l.



used 13 jew to get 6 socket : )

and uses 20 fusing .
got 3 times 4 l and the rest lower

Took exactly 200, got it on the last one I had.

0L: 1
6L: 1

Nah, going to just chaos it, the +3 life gain on hit ruins it.

Took 90 fusings +-

1 month race

Complete logged six-socket data:
222 - Four-link or less
0 - Five-links
0 - Six-links
