"I'm going to interpret this a very narrow subsection of data selected for its strangeness, and not use it. It's important to use data that represents the entire picture, and not just super weird occurrences (although the super weird occurrences are okay if the normal is included as well). When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. You guys ever consider that GGG might be ninja-nerfing 6L rates?
I mean, the devs can wake up one day, see that too many people are getting "endgame gear" and then nerf drop rates (or link rates in this case) at the flip of a switch, and players would be none the wiser. The last linking contest I donated to, the OP wasted 1100 of his own fusings on top of the 2000 that everyone else donated. /tinfoilhat ✮ in-game @FTMFW

315 fusings used 5L: 5 6L: 1 (Off the record: spent 1000-1100 fusings before I knew about this thread and started taking notes, but I can't provide any exact numbers I'm afraid. That would mean the chance of missing 3100 consecutive times is (874/875)^3100 = 0.0289, or 2.89%. That means 1 in 35 people who sit down and drop Fusings over and over until they get a six-link are just as unlucky, or even unluckier. Someone with an equally odd amount of good luck would get a 6L in 25 Fusings or less. Although these things don't exactly happen regularly, they're not so far out there that there should be any cause for alarm.
