"Entry into this league has closed." lol

How come Turmoil registration just started but when I tried to join it rejected me with "Entry into this league has been closed?"

Sorry if this is somehow known or if it has been posted before, but I was wondering about a few things:

1. If a person in the level 75 prize pool has gotten a roll from the 100 rolls for a Purple skull helmet (example), but it turns out that he already has it, does a "reroll" occur or is the prize just nulled and the next roll initiates?

2. If a person levels up to level 90 (or any level for that matter) in solo self found hardcore, and decides to migrate to turmoil hardcore, does he enter both pools of players with prizes or does he get rolled only in turmoil ssf hc or only in turmoil hc. I ask because I'm assuming that the ladder will show his/her name in both sections.

these events have limited entry? would've been nice to know beforehand, all i'm getting is "entry closed" :/

Same here...didnt even notice that you can join nearly a week before.
And i didnt know that there is a player maximum. -.-

Going to add my comment here, why is turmoil fixed players? If I had known people would spam make characters to reserve slots i would have to. Please make this clear next time for new players.
TLDR: Gutted to be locked out of fun content on the game.
