Unofficial Offline Skilltree Calc (Delete the Data folder to update. Stop posting "update please" )

hm, is the data folder created correctly?
does it contain a skilltree.txt file?
if not, you may want to check your firewall or antivirus.
As i can not include the skilltree and the images files as they belong to ggg, the tool needs to download them itself. if i included them, the update function also wouldn't work anymore(right now, if a patch changes the skilltree, you only have to delete the data folder and it updates itself)
For some reason, at least kaspersky seems to just outright block the tool from downloading the needed files from the poe website.

if you don't want some random tool to connect to the internet, which i could understand, feel free to take a look a the source at http://code.google.com/p/path-of-exile-skilltree-planer/ and run it from source if you want.

I found the problem, I downloaded a file that only had the .exe file & not the two .dll files. You should probably clearly explain to people what they are downloading in the OP, how are people meant to know they are missing files if you dont tell them what to expect? Though I seem to be the only one that downloaded it incorrectly...

P.S The Acrobatics improvement nodes dont seem to be adding up, Acrobatics stays at 20% when you take extra nodes

hm strange though, there were some really old downloads that had only the exe file, but i split it up because many people had problems with it. there should be only a download with the dlls and the exe and normally only the most recent.

As for the acrobatics, i have to modify the node post processing...
ggg changed the notations from being multiline to single line "," seperated.
will probably patch some of the open stuff after ob started, don't want to do it twice.

it does nothing, it's a relic from before i implemented the url loading/saving.
just save your url.

Hi, nice app!

Glitch found:

1. zoom in a bit (like quite far)
2. hold down left mouse button(for moving the tree around)
3. while holding down left mouse button, right click
4. black screen, cant get the tree back
(probably because the tree was moved way outside view)

When I try to download my item list I get a bunch of text in chrome, no file!
This would be fine if I knew what kind of file format to paste it in.
