Also here is a link that will milestone my progress, so we can push this build to it's limit.

Made an update on the gloves, as it turns out, Hatred freezes everything anyways, and the 25% physical to cold damage was just a wasted stat.

Yep. Try to aim for Maligaro's. It will boost your dps. Although it's quite expensive.
Today, I wasted 397 fusings on my ilvl 78 chest to get 6l. Failed of course.
Anyway, I am not going to try again for 6l in any near future so, here's my plan to upgrade my gear.

First , I am gonna exalt this to get more resistance.

I will replace this with a shield with %65+ combined spell damage and %70+ crit chance for spells.

I will try to find a wand with same spell damage but with cast speed.
Bump. Leveled to 82 today :)
Just wanted to say that I finally started this build myself.

I used Quill Rain early on, which made EK the obvious choice even in early levels.

I think the start could be done a little different, like skilling into the right branch of the witch tree. This way one could use EB to greater avail right when Discipline becomes usable at lvl 31. That would mean some respeccing later, though. It's not mandatory, but sure helps running more auras sooner.

All in all I really like it. Even more than I thought. It's basically the good old dual totem feeling back from CB again. EK is just really powerful.

I complement the build with Bear Traps, too (used Fire Traps early on, they are op and are getting nerfed soon :P). It's a little heavy on the mana, but makes for some nasty burst dmg - and with the right flasks it can be countered (fast regenerating ones obviously).

Rock solid and really a smooth cruise.

Kudos to zekerferc for sharing this jewel.

And I can only stress people, to give it a spin. I don't see how one would not love this build - as long as one doesn't mind the passive-ish playstyle of a dual totem build.

Very well said. Check out my thread for a little bit different spin on this build. I got the inspiration from Zeke of course, but I usually like to do things a bit different to fit my playstyle. In this case, I love hearing things shatter, so crit is what I'm building for.

I like your build, especially getting Inner Force. So far every build of mine had it. I went the other route for now, didn't really think about it tbh. This should be salvageable, though.

Also, I mentioned it before, for a potential 5th support gem for EK, I'd consider Iron Will very viable. All your mentioned options work as well, but IW should grant a decent dmg buff, especially if you happen to have some strength on your gear as well. Like the Magnate etc.
Thanks for the comments :)

I am not certain about Inner Force though. I simply could not give up the big three hp nodes ( 8-8-18 ) and the other four nodes (8-8-8-10) .

Yes, I came to the same conclusion. After all, both is possible in very very late game.

Avicularia can still get the HP nodes and you can still get Inner Force if you really want to.

Yes it is still possible for me but I have to give up some critical nodes. I dont see myself leveling beyond 92 so here's the trees.

Passives without Inner Force ( level 92 )

Passives 1

With Inner Force ( level 92 )

Passives 2

Without Inner Force I get

- %85 critical chance increase
- %10 critical multiplier increase
- 20 more base life.

With Inner Force

- Hatred aura gives %32.5 physical damage added to cold damage instead of %25.
- Haste gives %13 cast speed instead of %10.
- More Mana and Mana regen. Possibly one more room for another aura.
- 10 more dexterity

I really don't know :) Not in the mood for calculating dps right now :)
Seeing it written out in detail I agree, that IF is most likely not really worth it.

It usually shines when using Grace, Determination and especially Purity. None of these are necessary in this build. So I'll most certainly use the points for other things as well.

But it's a viable option nevertheless.
