Donald Trump and US politics

Isn't that like asking can Antifa stop Trump? Only if they increase their members a million fold and start an uprising. Otherwise, no.

The history of Weimar Republic Germany is useful.

It took Roter Frontkämpferbund red shirts (militant wing of the KPD/Communists) openly fighting with Sturmabteilung brown shirts (militant wing of the Nazis) in the street to scare the people into voting for more law and order, which the Nazi party was aligned to provide.

The red shirts later reformed as Antifaschistische Aktion, escalating the violence once more, but were shut down even more swiftly and after the public gave yet more votes to the Nazis. Shortly after that was the Reichstag Fire (blamed on the communists who everyone knew were violent enough for arson) and... the rest is history.

The argument is that if the communists had remained calm with their small political gains and continued fighting the war of words without resorting to violence, they could have potentially ended up with a larger part of parliament, or at least not empowered the fascists.

I think you need to go further back to the Treaty of Versailles. The people is unhappy with the economic hardship caused by it and the middle-class people unhappy with the obvious failure of their current democratic government to solve the country problems, they decided that the country needed a strong government to solve the country problems. That is how you arrive with the communists and the nazis.

The nagging question is Why did average Germans support the Nazis and Third Reich? Hitler is a leader who not only made Germans feel important, ensure the people were well cared-for by the state. He give tax breaks and introduced many social benefits. In a way they are financing such social benefits by robbing, plundering and murdering people like the Jews. The people willingly overlook the Third Reich’s unsavory, murderous side to support them. Does that sound crazy? No.

PS: I don't think the communists and the nazis can remain peaceful. They don't like each other. Hitler used Reichstag Fire as an excuse to strike first.

They are fighting themselves to hide the story. They haven't moved a muscle to investigate leads. Why should they? They don't get paid to reveal news. People forget that. They get paid based on advertising sold. Who would they piss off if they pushed illegal voting news? How large is that demographic? How much would that cut into their revenue? How soon would they all be called White Supremacists for daring to raise the question?

The headlines are discussed, negotiated, and in some cases, we have proof of big players in MSM submitting their article to the democrat officials for APPROVAL and editing before they publish.

Ask yourself why the Washington Post changed so dramatically in agenda after Jeff Bezos bought it. Ask yourself why the NYT became even more fervent after Carlos Slims bought it.

Time, and federal investigations will show it all anyways. Right now, we are in a waiting period, and only cursory official investigations have begun.

The closing line of the article you linked says it all:

"Jonesco noted that if you ever become stranded on a desert island with limited food sources, it would be a good idea to skip working out, because you wouldn’t be able to replenish your body’s fuels. "

Ok, so let's get this straight. The president said he doesn't exercise because "the human body has finite energy". And you are saying that his statement makes sense because if you leave someone in the desert without water and food it's better to not exercise. So, you and donald are talking about the same thing? You think it makes sense for donald to not exercise because he needs to save his energy... Because he is in a situation he can't get food or water...

What in the holy hell...

His claim was that Obama wiretapped the Trump tower, the unmasking was of a recording of the Russian embassy. The claim is wrong by default.

At times, of course. All people do. You wrote that without knowing what Trump's favorite brand of sock is, so obviously there are some facts missing.

What the hell are you talking about? When people say "speak after knowing all the facts" they mean the facts relevant to the subject. Why the hell would Trump socks matter to a subject unrelated to it?

Also, my point was that Trump definitely doesn't get all the facts before he speaks like he bragged about, when you came correcting me I had the impression that you wanted to mean that he does, but now you are saying that he doesn't and it's normal. If you agreed with me since the beginning what are we doing here?

Is that fact germaine? Probably not. Was Trump's commentary on Obama's birth certificate made with all the facts? The facts at the time were that Obama had not revealed a long form, just a short form. The latter isn't considered to be reliable. The question of Barack's birth place arose from a rival during a Chicago election, and Hillary's team brought it back to life for her run against Obama.

People conveniently forget that. What was really silly during the time, was that no matter where Obama was born, with an American mother, he was a natural born citizen and was a legitimate candidate for president. That's the racist part of it all. The natural human side is why was Obama hiding it? Questioning Trump's tax return is the same thing. People want to know, and the refusal to answer makes them even more adamant.

He was hyping a conspiracy theory without any evidence. That's seems like speaking "without all the facts".

lol, blaming the left when the right does something fucktarded or vice versa.

Both the right and the left need to stop being fucking quibbling children and take responsibility for their own actions. The conspiracy theorists spouting nonsense for profit are the only ones benefiting from this idiotic bullshit.

The Doomsday clock for the Democrats just took a big lurch forward:

http://thehill.com/policy/cybersecurity/346904-assange-meets-us-congressman-vows-to-prove-russia-did-not-leak-him

"Julian Assange told a U.S. congressman on Tuesday he can prove the leaked Democratic Party documents he published during last year’s election did not come from Russia and promised additional helpful information about the leaks in the near future."

"Julian emphatically stated that the Russians were not involved in the hacking or disclosure of those emails."

Julian also indicated that he is open to further discussions regarding specific information about the DNC email incident that is currently unknown to the public,” he added."

His lies prove that:

1-No, he doesn't get all the facts before he opens his mouth.
2-No, the reason he didn't say anything is not because he likes to get all the facts.
3-If the news media was like him, then you would see some truly fake news batshit crazy stuff going around.

You want to spin that into me trying to defend the media. I said Trump is full of shit, he is, and that's it. If you want to talk about the media you should pick a specific subject and maybe we can talk about something interesting.

1:He speaks whit the info available ,presidents are expected to make a brief statement if something like this happens,so no lies here.
2:You dont know that you are just making shit up now.
3:You have got to be shitting here right.

Also you seem to be completely missing the point of what i said, i said he owned the media(which he did) by telling them how things should work and he was absolutely right in doing so.
All i am concerned whit is the message he gave and i judged that message on its own merrits and that message was right,he could be a cowf***** baby eating cat strangling nazi for all care, that doesn't make those words any less meaningfull or true.

I have to agree with Trump's tweet today, the reactionaries have gone too far this time...

What you guys fail to realize is the Left and Right are NOT the only two choices. It is easy to see that such statements, when uttered by a member of the alt-right, are hypocritical. Indeed, the far right and the far left are two sides of the same coin.

However, when you consider it as four-group system — the far left, the far right, politically active moderates and the politically apathetic, then the truth is clear. The more violent the war between far left and far right becomes, the more dangerous it becomes to be a politically active moderate, as both sides will tend to brand you as enemy; this group shrinks as its members disperse towards the other three groups. The loss of moderate voices further fuels extremism which further pushes moderates away; the cycle of violence gains critical mass. Sooner or later moderates seemingly disappear from politics altogether, too worried about backlash to be politically active and thus silenced. In the end, maybe the far left wins, maybe the far right wins, doesn't really matter... either way lies dictatorship and the death of millions of people.

We know this, because history.

The alt-right prepares gleefully for upcoming race war. I do not share their enthusiasm, but I am beginning to agree with their prognosis. I fear what they hope for.

For a long time in the US, the Democratic Party was associated with liberalism. This is no longer the case. Political correctness now demands censorship, deplatforming, and the use of violence against dissenting speech. The Democratic Party has gone sharply left of where it previously was, away from liberalism and towards the postmodernist deconstruction of protocommunism.

What we need is a return to the now-centrist liberal values. We need to tolerate (but not necessarily accept) diversity of opinion and promote that tolerance by defending free speech. We need to oppose those who use their power to silence voices they don't agree with instead of defending their positions on their merits, regardless of whether we agree or disagree with what the speaker has to say. We need to have not a war of weapons but a contest of ideas, where it is write and not might that makes right.

You need to stop punching Nazis and talk with them, before it's too late. Words or swords — those are the two choices before us. The contrast is stark.
