For example.

- Blacks not being able to get a proper education because of their skin color
- Blacks not being hired because of their skin color
- Native americans being slaughtered, having their land stolen and being seen as "better off dead"

It's not possible to stop someone from being racist but you can at least allow minorities to interact with everyone else to lower the spread of racism. When everyone stop seeing skin color (and sexual identity/orientation) as a divider, theses favoritism laws will be able to be dropped.

I still don't get how affirmative action isn't illegal. It would be 100% illegal in Germany. It's literally racial discrimination against Whites and especially Asians who ironically are also a minority so it's also minority discrimination. Shit blows my mind.

Asians are in a weird middle ground were most of them are almost treated as whites unless they are more recent immigrants (Hmung) but for the most part they dont get any special treatment

Asians will take over no matter what you wish. They are highly competitive & hardworking people, they aren't bothered with imagined guilt, like white liberals are, they still have family values - feminism hasn't destroyed their society yet, etc... George Carlin was and is one of my heroes, but it's important to understand two key things about him:
1. He was very finicky about precision with language (which he used as a source of humor), and
2. He had given up politically, considering justice to be a hopeless cause.

Skin color is never a cause of virtue. As such, pride in it is indeed undeserved; that would be pride in a non-virtue. However, cause is a different thing than correlation, happiness is a different thing than pride... and most importantly, pride can be deserved because virtue does exist.

Some ethnicities have a current correlation with virtue — usually in the form of shared ideology — while other ethnicities have a current correlation with dangerous and/or harmful ideologies. Again, ethnicity is not causal here; for the most part, the cause is the "nurture" portion of childrearing, meaning that most ideological content is functionally inherited from parents in a manner technically divergent but practically similar to the inheritance of genes. It is completely rational to be not proud that one is white, but happy that one was... and I say "was" because whiteness indicates a high correlation with the instillation of key values during development. Similarly, it is perfectly rational to be unhappy that one was born into an ethnicity with a low correlation of desired ideology, which one could view as a factor in having to seek out the truth on one's own, perhaps with great effort or even some perilousness.

Naturally, for important decisions like hiring and university admissions, relying on often weak statistical correlation is an inferior strategy when direct testing is possible. The best-case scenario for racial stereotyping is "Most X are Y; this person is X; therefore this person is Y." Not exactly a valid argument. However, when such practices are in fact applied, and the "Most X are Y" correlation holds, then weaponized racism should be properly seen as an attack not on an ethnicity for its own sake, but as an attack on the relevant characteristics currently correlated with that ethnicity as part of a larger strategy against those characteristics. For instance, Affirmative Action is blatant, institutional racism against "the whites," and sexism against men, as applied to Federal hiring and public university admissions; the primary effect of Affirmative Action is a more Left-wing, pro-Democrat power base among government employees and university staff — that is, the ideologies correlating with whites and men, and white men in particular, are noticeably reduced within these key sectors of US infrastructure.

As far as national pride goes... well, a national government is a lot more subject to ethical choice than skin color. I will not discriminate based on ethnicity, nor for the accident of which nation one is born into (similar to being born into a religion)... but regarding those who pledge allegiance to one nation or another as adults while not under duress to do so, yes, I will certainly discriminate based on that information (religion too). And yes, I'm aware that all governments are noticeably corrupt and no nation is perfect, but some are very clearly better or worse than others. Yes, the US is fucked, but Mexico is inarguably more fucked, and Saudi Arabia is among the fuckedest. Ultimately, the responsibility for these states of affairs falls upon the citizens of each nation.

Of course, the discrimination that should be allowed to citizens is not necessarily one that should be allowed to government. The First Amendment is important... but it doesn't apply to American citizens, it applies to their governments.
