Not really. Here's Obama making fun of Mitt Romney in 2012 because Romney says "Russia bad!".

So before Trump: lol Russia who cares

And after Trump: OMG COLD WAR 2.0
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.

How doesn't this fit a poorly executed robbery? Are you trying to tell me he couldn't have been shot and the guy run off? Its the easiest explanation. Also, Wikileaks is highly partisan on its twitter and i doubt if Seth Rich was the leaker he would give his name.
No property was taken from Seth Rich, despite having his wallet on him, expensive watch, iPhone, etc. Still, I think a botched robbery is a likely possibility, albeit a very coincidental one if Rich was the leaker.

Also, WikiLeaks isn't partisan. You might be right about them misleading on the Rich implication, but my read is that they are not. Rich was a programmer and presumably tech savvy enough to both discover the leaked information and to get the information to WikiLeaks, and the leaked emails covered a time period matching his employment at the DNC.

Some extended ramifications of the Mueller appointment:

The most salient quote:

"
…”Be careful what you ask for because you just might get it”….

More specifically:

"
Deputy AG Rosenstein did the appointing because Attorney General Jeff Sessions recused himself from the ‘muh Russia conspiracy’, collusion between Trump campaign associates and Russian officials. The results here will be splendid for the Trump administration because there is no ‘there’ there in the collusion narrative. The White House approved of Rosenstein’s decision.

In poker this is referred to as calling your opponent's bluff. The Left has doubled down on the "vast Rooskie conspiracy" theory, mostly because, as a sound bite, "Trump colluded with Russia" is easy for the sheep to remember.

Absent any hard proof, this investigation will open the door to similar looks into the more substantial allegations against the Clintons and others. Sauce for the goose, as it were. =^[.]^=

Not really. Legislative machinations against Russia have been in the works, spearheaded by McCain and openly for anyone to view on congress.gov, since before the DNC emails were leaked. The Deep State has been gunning for Russia since the annexation of Crimea (Mar 2014) and/or Russian military involvement in Syria (Nov 2015), and is using Trump as an excuse to advance their agenda to take down Russia just as much or more so than they're using Russia as an excuse to take down Trump.

Also, I never noticed how much Americans loved Russians before Trump:

Obviously Clarke was up to some shady shit he didn't want anyone to know about, so he posted the photo to his Twitter.

Could you possibly be any more russophobic?

PS Updated Seth Rich post on previous page.

The left should really stop pushing the Russia narrative. Not only they never provided a single proof of it but it only has been debunked so many time. They are handing the next election in Trump's hands easily with that path.

People remember the media telling them Iraq had weapons of massive destruction without actually showing any proof of it, and few years later it was completly debunked. You know the old saying fool me once......

The Republican party is still recovering from the evisceration they got during GWB season 2. The Iraq War is a bad enough subject that Trump got approval points by lambasting it. That entire block of Republicans (that supported GWB) does not represent a majority of Americans, not by a long shot.

The crazy thing to me is that the Democratic party didn't play off the 2008 catastrophe to immediately pivot to a populist party to solidify their seats for a generation.

They let the Tea-Partiers gobble up that slice of the pie ("less taxes for our hardworking middle and lower class!") which brought Republicans back to life, didn't hang bankers in the public square, and then recently intentionally fucked Sanders out of the nomination. All of this ensures that they would never be associated with any kind of populist movement despite that being the current zeitgeist.

---

They lost really badly recently. They didn't reflect on this loss. They've got absolutely everything tied to Trump/Russia. To be clear, if nothing comes out of this and that all of the Russian accusations are figments of a desperate mind, the Democrats will be done.

It would be wise to stop counting eggs that haven't hatched and instead focus on things like figuring out how to win back the disenfranchised former-democrats living in the Rust Belt; something they still haven't even begun to address.
I worry for the future...

I really do!

With social media on the rise I fear that politicians will become just idiots that are popular on the internet!

You guys must have seen the South Korean Presidents doing this shit:
Spoiler

Yes, Presidency have always been about "the most popular guy"(except for Trump). But being "popular", and being "popular on the internet", are two different things!

People like that might be calling the shots in the future:

How do we prevent that shit?

No. What is this? 90-degrees off Nazi salute?

She cloaks the world
In impenetrable darkness
Actual election night coverage from S.Korea is the best thing I've ever seen.
