[0.10.3b HC]Piercing Lightning Arrow Bow Marauder [The Dynamo][Advanced]
The only place I can find really is leading up to the pierce node... but then you essentially swap that route for several more hp nodes or elemental dmg nodes. The life nodes are a downgrade since I bet that static 20% dodge makes up for them easily. Since you can rack up 3-4 hundred static ele dmg, it's a very nice dps boost to take ele dmg nodes..
Still undecided on chain vs pierce. One other thing I dislike about chain though: projectile weakness is amazing. 30% more dmg. More, not additional. Multiplicative. Everyone should use it! How pissed off are you gonna be if you double your mana cost and halve your damage in order to get chain support, only to have your projectile pierce the target and fly off the screen? Lots of points to get to golem blood... but let's face it, with that much hp, +1.5% regen is hot. I wonder if we'll be able to get to duelist's 1% if they rejig his starting area? Atm it's annoying because there are loads of useless nodes in the way. |

So how are you dealing with high-end maps? Are the large hp /hp regen enough to overcome difficult monsters. Otherwise i guess you could drop one of the supports on LA for LoH.
Secondly, I dont see you using any single target ability. Just not enough room for it I guess? Though not having a single target ability kind of gimps you a little on bosses / rares that arent surrounded by mobs. Overall I like the build alot. The 100%+ pierce definatly beats Chain anyday, atleast imo. Also Blackgleam is an amazing unique. I dont get why more people ain't using it. |

" For rares/bosses you use the inbuilt Chain mechanic of LA. You can either get them really close to a wall (painfully hard IMO) or use the Frost Wall right at them, then slam LA into the wall, and they will get damaged hard; because they get damaged by all 3 projectiles (one hits them, the other two chain to them). AKA "the shotgun effect". Life is tough... but it is tougher if you're stupid.

Venator's got it right, frost wall is severely underrated by most people, because it has both very useful defensive and offensive capabilities.
The large hp and regen is enough to overcome difficult mobs, and you also have the added benefit of frostwall for blocking off areas, and if you use decoy totem, you can use it to creep maps. |

Another big advantage with this build is that if you have multiple people running it, the barrage of projectiles will keep enemies pretty much under permanent knockback.

What exactly is so overpowered about this build, its just a lightning arrow variant using pierce instead of chain with a different curse.
