Possible ATI solution (for the majority)

For those wanting to try this:

I found Tessellation under the Catalyst Control Panel, under the "Gaming" tab, under "3D Application Settings"

It's the last section of settings under "System Settings"

The three available options are:

"AMD Optimized"
"Use application settings"
"Override application settings"

Not sure which one correlates to "Disabling" but I'm going to try it out some.

Select "Override application settings" then on the next dropbox select disable.

But it doesn't work - still getting 5 fps in multiplayer on AMD 7990.

Game is great but not being able to multiplayer is really getting old.

Tesselation isn't an option on my ATI card so ^_^

This method did alleviate the stuttering i get in areas like the docks and warehouse sewers. It did not fix it 100% though.

And i still get dramatic framerate drops while playing with another freezing pulse character.

EDIT: Also, burning grounds seems to take a huge toll on my graphics card. Might want to take a look at it.

I want to confirm - burning ground takes very big toll on fps. For me(6850hd 1gb) it lowerst the fps for 50-60 to 10-20!! Thats like playing crysis on high graphics!

2. Playing with just 1 player in party, can lower fps dramatically! ( i think GGG simply overdid themself with particles, effects and some mobs are way too detailed)

LA+Faster Att+Chain = 3-5 FPS on pack mobs

Radeon HD 4870, absolutely no help with fps drops whatsoever.

Didnt work for me :-( finally able to do maps and sit at 10-15 fps pretty much 80% of the time
