Sorry about that it actually makes sense now with realising there is the ascendancy which give proliferation.......(just saw it myself 10sec before i wrote yours :/)...sorry i am tired and since i never played fb bevor it was a lot of information to learn from one big post :)



Ps. only 2 things you could do is 1. set your profile too public and 2. maybe name the ascendancys with the right name.....I tried to google them and was kinda hard to find which you mean.

You need chance to ignite for a decent aoe.....otherwise your ele prolif is wasted.

This one you are more active while playing. Totems is mostly running in circles.
Also totem build don't use resistance curses. So you lose out on -40 to 50 res on enemies. I don't know how much loss that is.
Go totem if you want a "safer" experience.

Damage wise totem will lose out. If it really matters is up to you.

I suspect that that fang of the viper is taken for dexterity and running speed.

You need some dexterity for some gems.

You use orb of storm (lightning) before flameblast to apply curse. The -50 fire resistance is godlike for 1 point.

Is it ok to pick up mental rapidity and maybe 1-2 other Cast speed nodes and therefore sacrifice some dmg?

I am using Flameblast with Chance To Ignite, Fire Penetration and Ele Prolif. Also start using Orb Of Storm together with Cast On Hit and Flammability, together with the ignite notes on the tree(Breath of Flames and Elementalist) leveling is no problem at all

Just use any 5L with listed gems or Nycta's Lantern with Ignite+Prolification or CD+Faster Casting/iaoe its on you, but i feel like you can easy level with second option, just explosion damage.
P.S. 5L costs 2-4c atm, so just get it and use standart gems with prolif instead of fire pen/iaoe.

What the point to get flask nodes? We dont get much value from flasks, maybe better try to get Fire Walker at 93?
