2.6 CI Ignite Flameblast by Waldgaist - very good starting Build and decent Shaper farmer

Would it be correct to assume the Grand Spectrum Viridian jewels to be BiS? With 4 slots available (5th one for Melding + Energy from Within) you can get 80% increased elemental damage assuming you don't need any extra resists/ES/attributes from jewels.

First off i would not recommend going for pure dmg jewels because this build does not lack any damage whatsoever.

Now back to your question.
If you would use only 4slots for 4Grand Spectrum you would get 80% (4x4x5) increased elemental damage. Which is fairly good but by far not BiS.

You could use a rare jewel with 16% fire damage, 12%area damage and 10%damage. Which adds up to 38%increased damage. 38% times 4 is equal to 152% increased damage. But the area damage does not double dip with our ignite.
Which means 4 of those jewels would give you 152% increased flameblast initial damage and 104% ignite damage.

Therefore 4 Grand Spectrum are not BiS. If you could use 6 of them they would be BiS damage wise.

What would you suggets 20/20 Faster Castings or Empower lvl 3 as the last slot? Also how much ES is more or less viable for t15+?

Also what about Mastermind of Discord vs Liedge of Primordial. Can not chose between this 2 after uber lab. Can you give me some advice?

1)
I prefer the faster casting. I do not lack any damage and the cast speed helps the clear speed. Also a lvl 3 empower + a 21FB will increase you mana costs by a lot. So you would need more regen.

2)
Mastermind of Discord will increase your damage way more then Liege of the Primordial. Also you won't have any trouble with double ele chain maps if you don't run Liege and therefore 2 Golems.

3)
I did t15 maps with 9k ES. If you do have around 11k ES all content except Uber and Shaper should be really easy. You just need to get used to dodge projectiles while keeping the clearspeed high :)

I'm lvl 69 atm. And my damage seems a little bit low. 9k ES now btw. I have a question will 20/20 flameblast (cuz im low at currency to buy 21/20 FB) and DOryanis improve my damage by a lot? Cuz now im using life sprig :D.

Also got double ress -8 mana cost and 45% mana regen ring for 2c :D

Btw what is your opinion on using shield charge in place of Flame dash and Sulphur flask for extra ES regen?

How to position correctly? I mean sometimes mobs just swarm me and almost insta kill me even with 9k es on low level tier maps ? How to impove general survivability? Maybe i need some more cast speed to drop pizzas faster... dunno.

You will get there, don't worry :D
1 Flameblast Gem level gets you around 10%more damage. So yeah a 20/20 FB would increase your dmg greatly. Also buy a Doryani's Catalyst as fast as possible. Congratz on the rings :=)

Just stack more ES for more survival and increase your damage. The more damage you deal the faster you kill stuff -> less danger.

As far as positioning goes just try to hit packs with FB before they're near you and dodge incomming projectiles with good movement. Melee type monsters should always die before they are close to you. Also if you run Arctic Armour you can kite them into your chilled ground to get some distance between you and them. You will eventually get a feeling how to postion yourself for every mob type.

It is just practice :D Keep it up!

Edit: If you are using Beacon of Ruin and you got your hands on a Doryani's try to 3-4stack packs. The ignite damage will kill the hole pack and you are able to move while they burn. This is your go to tactic for speed clearing later in the game :D

Also im curious if it will be possible with high mana regen + mana + clarity to sustain flameblast with only one -8 ring and how much regen and mana do i need?

It is possible. You would need to do the math on your own tho :D

I am sorry if this sound stupid but how do you deal with gap closer that don't die quickly, for example Daresso?
