Season One, Race Event 1: One Hour Solo

First race I will participate in, hope I can get to lvl 13 for dat 1 reward point! xD
It's probably been mentioned already, but I'd really like to see progression rewards for non-top players:

2 RP for killing merveil and getting to act 2.
1 RP for finishing weaver quest
1 RP for finishing chamber of sins quest
5 RP for some really hard to get checkpoint (killing all bandits?)

I'm thinking with the current RP structure, most people (non-top players) will just be trying to hit lv13 safely, and then grind safely some more after that. There isn't any incentive to do things like trying to kill merveil, when you could very likely get yourself killed doing so. But I would like to see the race rules reward these kind of risks taken near the end of the race. Maybe a player would then change his race goal from 'reach lv13 in one hour' to 'kill merveil in one hour', which seems more exciting.

There will be many changes for Season Two based on how players perform during season one.

If people are easily getting all the rewards, then points will get harder to obtain. If almost no one is getting the Ring reward, then points will get easier to obtain.

They have to be somewhat aggressive in the point structure for Season One to see how the player base rises to the challenge set before them.
Im in!!!!!

Impossible in 1 hour.
I'm in an abusive relationship with life. It keeps beating the hell out of me and I'm too cowardly to leave it.

Whoever clears the Dread Thicket in 1 hour needs to get out of their DeLorean immediately.

im there dude :)
I've got to be honest, after spending the day practicing this I just plain feel like I'm missing something. Maybe as someone mentioned above me I shouldn't be going past Merveil. Regardless, I've failed three out of four attempts so far, and even the one that did get past Merveil only reached thirteen. And that was after I realized I needed to kill more enemies, prior to that I just plain died trying to reach her.

Whatever the hell I'm missing, I admit the people who've been getting to fifteen plus impress me. I do regret I can't seem to find any information on what I might do to improve though.
