Hey man.
What do you think of skipping EO and Cruel Preparation (total 11points) and then get Force shaper and a jewel instead for the 11points. That adds up to 71% phys dmg and a jewel. We do lose 20% max hp and 5%AR though if we skip King of the hill then, we lose 20% increased bow damage and some crit chance, but we could then hit take another jewel, so thats 14% max hp and at least 25% phys dmg depending on how much you'd wanna spend @ jewels.
Am i misunderstanding how good EO is?
I've tried both ways and i think EO just isn't worth it. It's definitely not up enough without any crit chance nodes and after taking the king of the hill i feel like wasting points in all of the int nodes to get to EO still isn't worth it when i could be taking all of those jewel slots instead.
Im definitely not an expert but in my experiences EO doesnt feel worth it at all, its too far away.
Nice to hear, do you think getting force shaper is even worth it m8?
By going Force-shaper you get easy access to Written in Blood.
Force-shaper path does give more damage, but we lose a little bit of Life, in a build that we don't have that much already. It uses more points, gives more damage, but with less life.
Just by staring at the tree, looks like force-shaper is a better deal, like bazzzzzz said
tl dr
force-shaper looks more consistent damage wise but we lose precious life nodes.

Its not too bad lifewise, as you say, we still get life, save a few points that we can invest in life jewels anyway. However, im not sure how much better 71% phys dmg is over 40% ele dmg... Since the phys dmg won't help our ignite? Maybe its worse?

71% INCREASED phys dmg vs 40% MORE ele damage
Yes, but like i pointed out m8, phys dmg won't increase ignite am i right? - Which is a lot of our damage.. No need to be cocky, i am after all just trying to come up with some alternatives/optimizations.
Atm.. I am playing to see if CI is really doable with this.
What do you think about Queen of the forest for a chest armor?
Decent chest. I wouldn't use it in HC, there's just better options. But up to you, if you just want to go super fast then use Queen.

Any suggestions on my gear?
Overcapped on resists at 166~ on all gear in my ho
Just have to reroll the crafted mods on belt, and helm
Yeah pretty much all fine really. You could buy similar gloves but with attack speed too. Next thing to aim for is a 6L and 20/20 gems.

That sounds good. Ele Overload is just great for the 40% more burn damage. The build is so strong that you can be very flexible in how you bould. If you feel like dropping Ele Overload is worth it, then go ahead. Other people in this thread have dropped it too.

Hi, currently 53 and loving it! I know you already mentioned single target option as LA+GMP+Frostwall, just to clarify - only three link is enough? Or is it supposed to be swapped with Split Arrow and thus combined with Pierce PPAD etc? Thanks.
Yeah that's to be swapped with the Split setup. So if you're fighting bosses like Izaro you can swap Split+Fatt for LA+GMP.
Hey OP, i just wanted to ask you why you took the shortest route to Piercing Shots node, combining piercing support gem, drillneck and the shortest route to Piercing Shots node i get about 90% pierce, is this enough?, do you have 100% pierce on your build, or should i grab the longer route which is 4 nodes to get that 100% pierce, and is that really important, would it escalate the damage overall greatly or is it a minor thing.
Thanks for this build, really having fun with it :)

You get 50% from pierce gem, 40% short tree route, and 10% from drillneck implicit :)
You do want 100% pierce. The time you want to go the 4 node route 50% pierce is if you have a nice corrupted drillneck (+1 arrow).

"We tell people that Path of Exile league starts are a fair playing field for everyone, and we need to actually make sure that is the reality."
A BLATANT LIE by the HMFIIC.
Perhaps GGG should consider a leadership change.

You're absolutely right, it's just weird that my tooltip Split Arrow said 90% chance of projectiles piercing, but taking a better look at the character sheet and then realizing it said 100% just confused me, but it's quite clear it's 100%... right?
