HUGE HACK went down!!! who all got jacked.
" Malware isn't going to edit or delete log files, none that I've seen. There is no evidence to suggest that my logs have been tampered with at all. This computer is setup with running AV, Firewall, It's own IDS, and system level hashing software and some other junk that I can't say the name of (due to NDA). Now with that said, I'm not saying it's impossible, to get anything off my computer without me figuring it out. But it's very strange for something like this to happen for a game. That being said, the drive has already been forensically imaged, then formatted and written over, and now restored from an image. There is a chance I fucked up, I'm not saying I'm 100% not at fault. I went though that rant above and in another post to show that I do have some clue about the interwebs. I am not a hacking investigator by any means so I don't know everything there is to responding to a breach. But with what I know I should be able to find some trail of a virus or malware and unable to see anything. But the fact that GGG refuses 100% to do ANYTHING to help paying customers no matter who's fault it is, is absolutely absurd. "Unfortunately, we cannot restore any items lost to theft." " Only 5L's and orbs above bauble were stolen from me as well It doesn't make sense because my perf sin trek's and 750ES shield weren't stolen which are worth a ton more than my shitty 5L and low currency(i just traded all my exalts/gcps and only had a lot of jewellers/chroms). " Heey look if I was the only one hacked then yeah I wouldve been 1% it was my fault but I'm not the only one who got hacked, even in my friend list there are 8 who got hacked and thats just 8/100 so imagine how many got hacked... 10 topics in this forum as well and still waiting for majority to login and find out they got hacked. | |
