Got hacked as well, extremely careful with my computer and very aware of the websites i visit. This game has security issues and i'm afraid some of us are wasting our time by playing it due to lack of support from admins.
The security issue is not with the game; you are the security issue.

Being careful often isn't good enough. It only takes 1 misstep to lose everything. Are you confident you couldn't have made a mistake?

I'm 100% positive this wasn't on my end. Visiting this forum only reaffirmed my suspicion. The game staff needs to hone up to this and issue rollbacks for individuals who were targeted.
Edit: Also my password was far from weak, 25 digit letter/number randomization. My account should have been more protected than the president.

If you can be 100% positive it wasn't on your end, I can be 100% positive you don't actually know what you are talking about. Your claim is one made out of anger, which I understand, but it doesn't really help.
Rollbacks will never happen because it will ruin game economy as it's basically a way to duplicate items.

sigh, all my currency is gone, didnt take any of my +gems or anything, but every piece of currency i had it gone... scan for viruses every night, dont go to suspicious links, dont have any "addon" (poe helper for example). back to square one... oh well still enjoy the game just wish this hadnt happened.

Today I deleted my client files because I suspected they were corrupt (blocks/black areas here and there).
After doing so and updating, I log in and see that most of my currency is gone (flask, weapon and armor improving ones are still there; ie. the worthless stuff?). I do not understand what that has to do with my files.
So I'm pretty baffled ...
Please note: Everything was there before I deleted my client files.

Your client files weren't corrupted, that is a glitch with too many pixel shaders overlapping on level generation or something, you'll find them near enemies with auras.
