As I said, I have sent the link to this thread to Carl -- I asked Chris who I should show it to if I follow the chain of command; I could show it to Chris but the dude is busier with more important things, I feel.

I did this not out of hubris (as I said, I just got this ball rolling) but because I think it's a crucial issue and someone, somewhere in this thread, may just give GGG what they need to go about fixing it.

I am not the sort to say I'll stop playing if they don't fix it, though. As before, as now: I will play around the flaws because I still love the shit out of the game.

But I acknowledge a problem, a pretty big one. And I think the quality feedback here and the sheer range of proposed solutions corroborates this belief.

I'm locking it now because too many pages might dissuade the due attention from a dev. That and I feel we have given enough for them to chew on.
