Witch - Elementalist

thanks a lot.

I just posted it on last page but here is it again...
GemLinks

Kinetic Blast

Kinetic Blast + Greater Multiple Projectiles + Added Chaos Damage + Pierce + Void Manipulation

For your 6th you have multiple options, especially for bosses conc. effect has the biggest dps boost(also double dip with poison), other options would be poison(if no better source), Increased crit multi/chance or Attack Speed.

Frost Wall

Frost Wall + Spell Echo + Increased Duration + Vaal Haste

Used mostly for unic bosses or though rares with no pack/objects/walls nearby in order to multiply your kinetic blast hits. Keeping the gem underleveled can help if you mana pool is low. Link Vaal Haste/Grace to benefit from the Duration. Linking Frost Wall with spell totem would be an option if no other totem is used.

Frenzy

Frenzy + Power charge on Crit

Used to generate charges mostly for tough bosses where Blood Rage isn't a option.

Aura Buffs

Grace + Blasphemy + Enfeeble/Projectile Weakness + Enlighten

Main aura gonna be grace, should give around 8-10k evasion rating, you can either use Projectile Weakness/Temporal Chains for more damage or Enfeeble for defense with helps evasion/dodge build quite a bit. Optional you can link enlighten to be more comfortable with your mana pool. Purity of Elements against Elemental weakness mod, since it is hard to get over caped with res with this build.

CWDT Setup

Cast when Damage Taken + Immortal Call + Frost Wall/Enfeeble + Increased Duration

Theirs a lot of options to make a CWDT Setup and it depends mostly on your personal taste/playstyle what you should put in there. I use Immortal Call and Frost wall (decent defense against melee attackers and blocks projectiles, also can be quite handy if it autocast on some rares to safe time).
Increased Duration, Enfeeble, Phase run or Blind could also be considered.

Optional: Wither Totem

Wither + Spell Totem + Increased Duration/Faster Casting

While Wither Totem would offer a insane boost of 140 % increased Chaos Damage (with also double dips with poison), i didn't use it as much the time i had it, putting frost wall alone takes time and is enough for most unic bosses. I use a Decoy Totem instant, it helps to get the bosses closer to your frost walls and don't need require any links.

Other Gems

Vaal Haste/Grace/Summon Skeletons/Lightning Trap
Summon Ice/Stone/Chaos Golem
Animate Guardian
Decoy Totem
Blood Rage

Blood Rage is must have, just put it in a free slot, use Increased Duration if you feel like it.

Vaal Grace can be used in place of Haste do get max capped on your dodge, Ice Golem would help out if you don't have very high rolls of acc/crit on your ring/amulets.

Animate guardian gives a decent boost mostly for your curses, just swap him out on some hard hitting/aoe bosses.

I prefer Decoy Totem instant of a Wither Totem or Frost Wall Totem currently, but just test out what you like more.

Thank you so much and sorry.. i thought i checked all sites..

quick question..

do u think

would outperform

and if so.. what would this wand be worth?

kind regards
Loving your build.
I wanted to ask what would you suggest me to focus on in terms of gear to maximize damage and survivability.

Right now I'm sitting at around 4.5k hp and 3.5k dps, although I'm only level 79 and both of those numbers will kep increasing as I add passive nodes and trade the gems for 20 quality versions.

This is my current gear:

Please note that I recently burned all of my currency, so I'm looking for gear worth 2 ex or less, and that would make a noticeable improvement.

Thanks in advance. This is a great build. (:

Does Kinetic Blast use spell damage? I was told no because it's an "attack" so it uses weapon damage, but then I took a look at AA's build and he has a lot of spell damage passives. (And OP's starts on the green side, or is that the ranger build I have eyt to look at? While his other one has 123 passive points unspent) Please lmk.
Trying out this build now but only have a 5 Link Carcass, just wondering what you would recommend to sub out in order to fit the gem sockets. I was thinking taking out poison and using snakebites. What would be your ideal setup for a 5L?

Depends on your crit chance/multi, but it should give more if you get 12 % attk speed mod from tora. It would be much more worth, if it aldy have attack speed or crit chance on it.

First of all many thanks for this build. Myself started to play as a Ranger and went Pathfinder. So far the progress is pretty good.

I just wanted to share my option to get all the charges up. I use this flask:

With the Ascendancy passive "Nature`s Boon" it`s always up. So i have space for non Blood Dance Shoes and i can drop following gems:
Hey! Just started this build and it's incredibly fun!

Overall my gear is pretty lame (all very cheap except for shadow & dust) but I'm wondering how I can scale this better? From what I can tell, the only major DPS sources from the traditional build are:
- gems
- obliterate wands
- jewellry w/ chaos damage crafted mod
- passive tree
I guess I'm just concerned as I start mapping into the high tiers about the damage scaling. What is a regular tooltip at like lvl 85/90?

A post above mentions going crit- does this involve respec'ing from the tree in the original post? Or does this just involve getting some crit affixes on your gear (including some uniques). Seems like an interesting idea.

My other concern as I level is the overall squishiness of the character. I still have some life nodes to get (scion life wheel) but I figure I'll top out at ~5K hp without a belly of the beast. Guess that's better than your traditional 4K glass cannon, but still does not measure to the overall life pool of ES of even hybrid builds. Is there potentially an option to go CI or even hybrid? I suppose I can just get some minimal ES on gear as the tree does have some % ES scaling.

All advice is appreciated. Still loving the build though!

If you concern about squishiness and play witch, you better of rerolling into a shadow or ranger, which offers better defensive and scale better with crit.

I had 60k+ on tooltip buffed (366k with conc. effect+poison) and 5k life on level 93.

Going CI would probably mean loosing out on to much dps, but you can go for some hybrid (if you have a other source for frenzy then bloodrage), personally i don't have any problems even in t15, you can still take vaal grace for max dodge.

Keep in mind to have enough life/res, before you switch to crit with facebreaker/rat's nest etc.

My Gear atm:
Spoiler

There is still lots of improvement for me, like upgrading my jewels, thinking about which helm enchant would be the best and i also could go dual curse with temp chains on hit on cloves.

Dyadian Dawn belt or 2 rares can be used for phys reflect map mod.

ChestOptions

Offensive:
1. Cospri's Will
2. Carcass Jack

Defensive:

1. Lightning Coil
2. Kintsugi
3. Belly of the Beast

Mobility:
1. Queen of the Forest

DoubleDipDmgModifier

scale only DoT = poison , DoT, duration
double dips = chaos dmg, projectile dmg, area dmg, increased damage, frenzy charge damage
scale hit = phys dmg, attack dmg, weapon dmg, attack speed, crit

I usually always use Grace Aura and Blasphemy+Projectile weakness or Blasphemy+Enfeeble.

Can't complain about my dps at all, can go over 100k hit dps + 266k poison dps buffed, enough to one shot any pack or rare, and most map bosses < 5sec.
(not counting in any curse, wither, my 6 projectiles, deadeyes 30 % more modifier or frostwalls).

I appreciate the suggestion. Looks like your crit/poison setup is fantastic as well!

I'm kind of bent on playing an the elementalist version though. Any suggestions you have regarding that? Do you know what the average tooltip for that looks like (just so I can get a good understanding of what to aim for)? Right now seems like the only way to scale my damage is to level/quality gems as well as get a good vaal implicit on my wands. Any other suggestions? Could I maybe go crit with the witch tree in the original post?

I got to the scion life wheel today and overall health pool definitely improved. Guess I was overreacting to the squishiness.
can you give some leveling tree for the Pathfinder please ?
