Before AC you had the potential to rebuild any non scion build as a scion and it would be better.

You cant do that any more. The AC passives scion cant get are what make every other ascendancy class superior.

Ill take less efficient pathing and better AC passives than weak AC passives and better pathing. You hardly ever see strong builds these days as scion while the meta builds are all not scion.

I am open to seeing an example. "Successful" is subjective.

I don't have time to write comprehensive build guides or I would have done so for years. Successful is subjective of course. However, what I mean when I say it, is that it can do all content, (all or most) map mods, has at least decent scaling with gear and/or gem levels or quality and most efficient level 100 passive pathing.

A few examples, without going into detail, is my explosive arrow build and a recent build using essence drain and certain uniques. The spark build ZiggyD made in Perandus league is another highly successful example. No other ascendancy class came close to its power.

I'm really getting to like the idea of a waypoint just after each izaro encounter only to stay open as long as that particular instance of the labyrinth is available.

So long as waypoint doesnt let you leave lab (ie go to town or hideout) sure that would be fine. Not sure what the point would be..

No portals is a mechanic for a reason, same for no waypoints.

Nope. But it allows noobs to cheese izaro when they deserve to get wrecked. No OP Vaal skills, no free flask refills, no changing items or skill gems to better handle the situation you are in, no Macros to log out when your about to die.

Only the strong are allowed to be successful. The weak shall perish and be cast aside for there is no room for the inferior in such a place as this. This is the way of life, nature at its core. Adapt or die.
