Does this (and similar) changes to "no recipe" mean the former known trade formulas are counted different now, or are they really not longer available? (20 shards -> Orb, 15 white's -> Portal,...)

i wish they woulda nerfed item level sell values instead of mod level values. alch orbs didnt need a nerf aside from the lvl 1 mule abuse imo.

How about the compromise?
For item finding mods the iLevel of the item has to be above a threshold for it to be able to spawn.
The choice of closing the hot water for lowest level item find will be hard to understand for average Joe in open beta.

I am convinced that the developers are thinking exactly that and the fix in 0.9.6 was mostly symbolic to avoid abuse without having to wipe the characters untill a future patch where every item and mod gets rethought and rebalanced.
It sounds like 0.9.7 will be focused on that specifically since it is a large part of the "balancing" universe!

I combine items with suffix name and prefix name. But this combination doesn't work. May be i need items with suffix and prefix name together, like xxx *name* of xxx?

6 affixes should be called 6 mods and is only attainable on rare items. It directly means that if there are 6 prefixes and/or suffixes totally on the item it sells for 6 orbs of augmentation.
Unfortunately it is very complicated to describe exactly how it looks and how to determine if it is indeed a 6 mod item since - as you can find out here http://www.pathofexile.com/item-data/prefixmod and here http://www.pathofexile.com/item-data/suffixmod - there are several affixes with 2 effects and these are also able to spawn on rare items. Therefore you cannot determine it only as 6 lines after the implicit mod on an item. It is however a good rule of thumb that if there are 6 lines of bonuses after the implicit mods, it is a "6 mod" or "6 affix" item!

on the same subject and maybe even easier would be to just not allow vendors to spawn rarity/quantity mods until a set point in the game? i.e. ruthless act 2? that way lowbies can still vendor the rarity/quant gear they find for alch shards and start progressing in orbs.

i feel there is more to it than just the lvl 1 abuse after thinking about it more. they wouldnt have blanket nerfed the prices by 30% throughout all mod lvls for that.

only thing i can figure is they think alch's are to common and want them to be more valuable. i dont see it working since their value is pretty much set in stone by chaos and scour. i just see it making it harder for the lower guys trying to build up.

they took care of the % item trade in recipe for regal, now the 3 of a kind needs to go sometime b4 open beta/release. or exalted / regal need to swap. either would fix that imbalance.

Please make the neccesarry corrections:

For divine ANY item with 6-linked sockets (i tried white/blue/yellow and i'm 99.9% sure that also a orange-brown item gives the same result)

For jewelers ANY item with 6 sockets (i tried white/blue/yellow and i'm 99.9% sure that also a orange-brown item gives the same result)

Please correct, because as of now the recipes are incorect/incomplete.
