that amount of DPS surprises me since you basically don't have any damage supports linked to your setup - you just run a crit setup.

i haven't been able to play this patch yet but i really want to make a build for BV. it will be an RF build using doon sceptre, iron will BV and around 620 total str with upwards of 18.2% life regen with blood dance boots.

i was kinda scared about mana cost, and i may try to make it work with mana but i guess i could swap out a damage support gem for blood magic considering you do so much damage without any real damage supports.

my plan is blade vortex, spell echo, inc duration, iron will, controlled destruction, conc effect/blood magic.
im not running a crit setup but i'll have so much flat damage and an incredible amount of cast speed in total with my gear and passives. i'll also be running 9 frenzy charges and 10 when the new patch comes with the ascend trees.

with such low damage effectiveness im focusing on cast speed, duration, and MORE multipliers (supports, rf, frenzy) and gaining a massive amount of spell damage via str from iron will.
this will also allow me to run a high damage EK setup in doon's sceptre for single target focused damage (probably EK, controlled destruction, empower).

i have a few questions tho. you have all of the skill duration effect nodes, as i would get as well, does your blades stay out enough for you to get a super high stack for fights?
with your current DPS how many stacks do you think is required to have decent clear speed?
whats your general feeling towards this skill so far? i have a fear that while you can make BV work, running a dedicated EK build may be much more effective and efficient considering it just got a massive buff as well.
like i fear that instead of running a 6L BV build in a carcass, it may be better for me to run an RF doon EK build with a kaom's heart or something.

RF sounds good. Look forward to seeing it. My first build here was ZiggyDs EK Shadow/Scion and don't want to do another one.

Why no Vaal Pact? I think it works fine with Warlord's Mark. Or it does get the leech from only one blade?

Because I get instant leech from paw now. I was finding on higher end content it was hard to have warlords auto cursing. Like 11+ maps. So I was getting no leech unless I drop a gem for LL. Then mana is still issue if you got no warlords out there.

Trust me this verion is 200% better and still two cheap weapons is all you need

Take out herald of ash and ice, get Blasphemy with Warlord's Mark. And change Blood Magic to something that will give you dps like Physical to Lightning or Reduced mana to lower it's cost so you can precast more.

Yeah that works great on low level couple pages back i tell ppls to do that who couldnt make warlords proc but it does not help me charge up before on bosses. See Atziri fight where I enter vaals and other boss like in split phase with 50 blades. Not to mention curse immune maps...

How on earth am I supposed to maintain RF?
Turning it on kills me in like 3-4 seconds

LOL you just do it on bosses and better be leeching from him whole time. leech + flask overcomes drain until he dies.
