Hi you have to have high DPS. The HoI only curse on hit other enemies when shatter i.e. killed whilst frozen. Until damage is high either manual curse, get another Blade Vortex gem and link to CoH cast once at start of fights it lasts 10 sec, or run blasphemy + curse or CWDT and curse. More than one to skin a cat.

I prefer automated. So I use 2 and 3 for insurance and no mana cost.

You can use 4 at beginning but them only 1 herald.. aura and heralds personal choice really

Just know you need about 250 mana free to get started spamming in midde of a pack with a 6L until warlords catches up


When partying (or no curse map) I'd slot bloodmagic and have a cybils paw handy, that one reason I have two reds.

I'd prolly go warlords with blasphemy and Hatred when starting

Didn't thought about Blasphemy and indeed it's really a cumfortable solution, i messed a bit with different thngs though i'm pretty limited with slots/colors for now being started on Talisman , and 4.) was really the more effective & straightforward atm. Compared assassin's mark / warlord's mark, and sticked with Warlord for the life leech, and the mana is overall sustained better as well. Thus i'm now using Blasphemy/Warlord + Herald of ash.

Really feels like i'll be able to level flawlessly using this setup so for now i did refund all crit passives (at start i didn't saw your intermerdiate levelling trees, so i invested early in crit), though i still kept vaal pact and all phys dmg nodes. I still run with two daggers so i may switch to one handed + eva shield, more spell dmg oriented for levelling, and will decide end game if i'm going crit or more tanky with phase acrobatics (must admit this variant sounds attractive to me cause you're never tanky enough vs some bosses, i somewhat miss the 9k+ES i did run with Vaal pact/Ghost reaver on my chaos/CI incinerator :p).

By the way, in your tanky variant, while going for Phase Acrobatics; what do you think about grabbing the x3 poison nodes just aside, including Fatal toxins (then dropping the 3 doom cast/crit nodes), and then using the Poison support gem into the mix with Vortex; could be some nice added damage, bypassing mobs ES if i'm not wrong about it ?

Does you guys test this skill with various increased AoE portions? I ran double Divinarius + Increased AoE gem with Tabula Rasa and got the same AoE with Carcass Jack ;o I taken off double divinarius, get some wands instead and the radius were the same. There is a cap or some bug.

Are you running Cybils for Curse Immune maps? Is that enough to keep yourself up against one target?
