I have switched over to shield like you have. I found myself dying too much when I got up to tier 3-4 maps when I got to them, and the dps loss isn't enough for me to be worried about.

Up to 4.5k HP and 4k armor with IR which is nice, although not taking twin terrors is making me rethink how out of the way I went for IR now. But I'll decide later if I'd rather just go back to straight dodge.

Im just afraid of lack of DMG.. im lvl70 and got only about 1500dmg of both spells. But 4k hp AND 15K Eva.

If dmg gonna suck. Im thinking about sacrificing some hp to some phys nodes as you have in you skill tree.

Also right now im not using Hatred(or hoi) but Grace.. durability on T1-4 maps is awesome. Clearspeed is decent. Will see how its gonna be on higher maps.

I think elreons ring isnt needed.. didnt have any mana problems at all with that warlord mark aura.

Can you post your tree? I'm interested in seeing how you got to 4.5k HP? Scion Wheel?

Right now I can barerly hit 3.5k total. So I was thinking about re-doing some stuff perhaps even dropping some crit/phys nodes in favour of more hp. Anyway strechting out to witch and duelist might be too much. Although spirit void and the other void mean I almost don't die anymore. They are must-have. :)

Get a good shield with life, spell dmg, crit spell chance. :)

At first I wanted to do this build with daresso's defiance so we didn't have to worry about endu charges. Getting our powercharges from kill's won't work well in boss fight's so we might have to still to voll's protector or pcoc. If you can get a 5 link voll's protector sure -> right now I'm using tabbby to see what 5 th is best :) Added Fire Dmg is rocking :)

Gear is important nevertheless, so you will need to switch out your rings to critical chance ones. This build is based out of 1 dagger not dual wielding although that's an option. But you'll miss life and spell dmg + crit chance spell on a shield.

Your daggers also have low aps and ideally we are looking at a vagan dagger with high aps and cc.

Not playing HC.. and about shield vs dagger. Getting good shield is as hard as getting good dagger.
With dagger you sacrifice life but you get extra 40-80% crit chance (on implicit). I will take what gets into my way. Right now im poor to buy gg shield/dagger. Gonna stay with what i have.

Also wanted to ask, as scion going for that extra power charge on witch is very long way. Should i sacrifice that one and go for phys nodes? And maybe Twin terrors between ranger and duelist.
