Sounds like a good idea for leveling/intro maps before you have higher level stuff (gems/bows).

btw how exactly does frenzy increase our dmg ? i was under impression it gives phys/atk.speed so why do we use it for chaos spell?

it gives 4% total damage for each charge, so it boosts damage like a lot.
So from my own experience:
Lvl 79. 4k hp 55% evasion 40% dodge, 10k cloud damage(with +2/20% bow, golem and 7 frenzy charges)
Doing mostly tier 1-7 maps atm(thats all maps i own in talismans atm), but i gues i would clear higher maps easily.Sometimes having trouble with hard phys damage(like Stygian revenants, worms, and hard hitting snakes with bleeding).Maps with double added damage/vulnerability can be quite hard.
Dont have coil or taste yet(using QotF and evasion flask atm, but it seems to be really weak, even with 20+ k evasion u dont actually dodge anything).I actually find coil quite hard to itemize, and i think that 23% phys damage reduction from non legacy one is not that important.So i am thinking about belly or daresso instead.
Dont have drillneck yet, so i can tell how much damage it actually ads to cloud damage.
So far this build seems really nice, average clear speed,huge range(as any ranged build) and ability to kite(my favorite part, couse i am a decent moba player).

Does crit chance on the Bow affect the DPS

is blood dance an option at all with this build on SC?

Sure, but Frenzy is better as it applies Vulnerability with CoH.

Nope, the cloud cannot crit. It will only affect the initial hit which is nominal damage.

Are these Skill gems still what you recommend?

I have a 5 l +2 with crit bow, but it gets more tooltip DPS Than the + 3 No Crit 5L bow with same games. Why is that?

First, just a little tip for future. When we look at tooltip dps we have to be conscience of what it means. A 100% elemental build with 30k dps will do less damage than a 100% chaos build that does 25k dps. This is due to monster chaos resist and what not, so do not get too big into tooltip dps. Tooltips are a decent indicator, only if you understand how each skill works with tooltips.

The only part of the tooltip dps that matters for caustic arrow is the DEALS X CHAOS DAMAGE PER SECOND. Nothing else matters on the tooltip. also, if using conc effect, multiply that number by 1.6 or whatever the multiplier is for your level of Conc Effect.
