You are worrying about tooltip dps too much here. First off, it is not 25k. Conc Effect is not include din tool tips. So multiple 25k (26k now) by 1.60 to get the actual dps (40k).

You also have to remember that CA is ALWAYS going to be lower than most other skills dps wise? Why?
Well it has always been that way and for good reason. You shoot and move. While you move it still does damage. The utility in that is INSANE. There is a very large reason why Atziri killers choose to use CA so much.

When you speak of LA 20k is actually really low. LA has issues where it cannot run ele reflect maps, where as this build does not have that issue. EVERY build has pros and cons!

If you want the highest tooltip dps, this build is not for you, infact no CA build will ever be for you. It is the unfortunate truth of the skill in general.

The main thing i see is you have a 6L and i only have a 5L, but i find it hard to believe that one link will give over 10k dps...well long story short was wondering if you had some time if you could check out my gear/tree and if you have any tips that would be great :)
i loved the old PA and really want to play it some more, so any help would be great, thanks or your time.

1L can give you a very large bonus but definitely no 17k dps more!

Never mind me. 6L +2 with empower lv 2 is essentially 5L +2/+1.

Currently I am at 5.5k cloud dps and tier 4 maps are nicely done, so I'm okay with it,because I have a lot of space to improve like maxing my gems and getting a better bow.

Yea, CA has a strong lategame curve as you level all your gems up, etc.

Your build is VASTLY different than mine considering you are a scion. You aren't taking growth and Decay either.

If I were you, as a Scion, I would use a high jewel count build with possibly hidden potential. A Dygnity build basically.

yes your right, my scion is different then yours, but my ranger i made i followed your guide and ended up with 1/3 of your dps, that is the comparison i was making. i put the scion tree in there just showing that i had more dps with that toon is all.

There is something else going on there. The extra jewel slots would not give 200% multiplicative dps at the loss of a set of chaos nodes...

1/3rd of the dps makes no sense even though your Scion is 10 levels higher.

lvl 83, just killed malachai. still going strong. getting better every level. now if I could just 6l my 6s bow id be set....
