Detonate Dead
also, more of a bug related to this skill:
when you target a mob with this skill it looks for corpses around it and if there are no corpses close enough it fails. this happens often with mines. the thing is, with AOE nodes / links, a usable corpse that would hit the target exists, its just ignored because (I'm guessing) the search radius does not depend on where the corpse would actually hit, ignoring the skill's actual aoe. fractured devourer:

" This could also have to do with the cast range of the skill (though I've never used it). It might not just be the search radius but the fact that your character has to be physically closer to the corpse to cast the spell. Also it could have to do with desynch / lag issues (i.e. the corpse is at point a) on your screen and point b) serverside). |

tried to reproduce it again, but failed.
only time it worked is when it crit on a mob outside of usual range, and then the totem died. any chance the crit has more AOE or something wierd like that? fractured devourer:

What happens if you link DD with Trap-Multiple Traps? Does Multiple trap lower the overall damage or just the physical one?
If it still does the same % of amount HP it could be really good since you can take fire, burning and trap damage nodes. This would make your fire traps even better and if DD's phys damage is the only thing that suffers, the Trap passives would make up for it.

The tags have no actual effect on the functionality of the Skill. It's still technically classified as a Spell; it's only the Damage type that is not Spell.
