I like this one :)
Now, your using a shield + dagger with that skill tree right?

Not, with dual wielding. Look the Twin Terror notable picked.

edit: I belive that this version is more optmized, considering help Oak normal (life), help Kraytin cruel (attack speed), skill point merciless. The only change was to pick Sleight of Hand notable to Shadow (physical and attack speed). Attack speed is life to CoC builds. :)

Guides made by me:
Unnamed's CoC CI Discharge Trickster, Tankster BV MoM Poison, Saboquisitor MoM Pure Cold damage with Hrimburn, Trickster Critical Flameblast

I do this build on Tempest atm, works pretty good but feels a bit squishy at times, especially vs bosses, but just melts the whole screen.

My gear

Just not sure how to sustain mana. I run a leveled Clarity and have a -8 Elreon ring, but I would need both to spam Cyclone with 1 support gem. Still I have no clue how OP runs this build without either.

Taking two support gems for Discharge is impossible atm, but damage is good enough with Nova+Arc.

Anyone running the same build on Tempest, feel free to add me!

Spoiler

Following this build since 4 days, nice and funny. But not much tanky (like incinerators etc). And is there any suggestion that you can give me about single dps gems? What should i do ?

Helping Kraityn has been meh even before they introduced jewels and nowadays even normal Oak is questionable if you compare it with a GG jewel. 8% attack speed is horrible considering that there are jewels around with 12-14% increased attack speed AND global Crit. What a waste of regrets.

Also Shadow and Scion are both softcore only because for a few DPS nodes you sacrifice huge amounts of armour and life.

Good point. About the adapted tree I like to play hardcore then I made this tree with enough increase life and reasonable attack speed to compensate the few nodes of damage, a fakener usually have more damage nodes. This tree is just theory, I have not done a character like that. I do not know if it really is good one fakener in hardcore league.

Use Curse on Hit - Herald of Thunder - Warlord's mark. It will spread the curse before you hit things, and the mana leech it provides includes your discharge damage. I have all my mana reserved, except about 50, and I have no problem sustaining with 1 -8 ring, except in curse immune maps. Whirling Blades on blood magic isn't optional, IMO. With proper regen (which you should have for blood rage) you can zip around the map infinitely and you will always be able to get out of sticky situations whether you have mana or not.

Also, you feel squishy because you have very low armor/evasion on your gear. Make sure all pieces have as high Evasion, Armor or hybrid as possible to take advantage of IR.

Thanks! Yeah worked like a charm. Running a leveled Clarity just seems so inefficient given it reserves about 80% of my mana. I thought about going Grace/Determination later but still not sure if purities weren't better. You do need to keep a mana flask for single targets tho?

Also I intend to switch to shield at some level to use a high def one or Saffells, just think the bootload of defense is worth sacrificing the ~200 crit chance from Twin Terrors and second dagger. Damage output should be reasonable anyways.

Sounds more like standard fakener. Gear for that is ridiculously expensive. Nice thing about this tree(I used the recommended ranger variant) is that all the str travel nodes give damage through iron will, and life. I'd say it's only worth switching when you can make/afford a nice Vagan/spell dmg/crit dagger.

I recently rebalanced my gear to fit in Atziri's Step, for spell dodge and a lightning Doryani's Invitation, probably BiS belt for discharge.
Compared to full on fakener gear, they're pretty cheap.

I also thought about switching AA to Grace or Determination, but the Innervate/ cull on Herald of Ice is really awesome, and that puts me at 58% reserved with Herald of Thunder. Not sure the 6 points to get to Charisma would be worth it, and I can't afford an Alpha's Howl :P

Oh, and no Mana flasks. Just keep one around for curse immune maps, swap with atziri's promise, which I normally keep around to burst down rares and uniques./bosses.

My Char's name is HeliCoCter, if you want to check out my setup.

Isn't AA literally useless when you are constantly moving and the buff doesnt work while on the move?

Since I play on Tempest, I will probably swap the Ice Bite Herald for Grace/Determination. Of course in softcore you can go full dps with this.

AA applies chill in a radius around you, and if you get stuck on something, or lag, or get stunned, the damage reduction is still applied.
