[2.0 HC] Lepor's low cost, high survivability Fakener. [CoC]
" I've had a tree that looks a fair bit like this one but decided that I like the HP regen and duelist area's range more in terms of the point investments, it also gives you more STR to go through the duelist area. I'll take a proper look later on and maybe add something similar as a variant for the build. |

Hello there! I'm a long time HC Diablo 2-3 player, been on PoE for a while now and I just switched from SC to HC (first time HC, rolling on Tempest). I miss my Mjolner build on SC, and was wondering how fast/safe it was to level this guy? Also how did you level him?
I enjoyed reading the guide, and I like the idea of CoC builds. Have you Have you tried out any other form of catalyst for CoC in HC? Or have you determined Cyclone to be the best/safe-ish. Highly enjoyed and look forward to rolling/seeing a more polished guide in the future. Stay safe |

I've been leveling up as this build for the past few days. Here is my slight variation on the build, which is a combination of the two posted previously:

I liked the extra evasion from sentinal and reflexes, but believed that master of the arena was needed for cyclone so this build was the end result. I've been using two crafted pieces of Elreon -8 mana cost jewellery so that my level 1 cyclone costs 0 mana. This lets me run arctic armor, HoI and HoT all linked up with not much mana left to spare. Like eepoo posted, choosing to go true strike instead of twin terrors is a good option. It lets you use a shield if needed and saves you 3 points which could go to more life, a jewel socket, or more eva/res with survivalist. I haven't done this yet, but might in the future if I feel my crit is good enough. Even at 109 points this build has room to grow, it's biggest limitation is not enough skill points. Travelling this much really eats up points quickly now with the new tree. I went Oak/Skill/Alira with rewards. I switched to CoC cyclone mid thirties when I could wear my 5link voll's. IGN: Vals

hello, how to level this build?
|
|
iron will is not good with this build you would need 400ish maybe even more strength to make iron will out perform simply adding another spell to your links.
for mana sustain i saw a guy who picked up eb and got es on hit stuff. not sure how many points you need to do that though Last edited by mayainverse#1488 on Jul 26, 2015, 4:36:24 PM

Iron will is great in the build, the tree gets nearly 400 str with the jewel and add in some more STR from gear and you're golden Mayainverse.

After playing a similar Build I definitely agree on the dual Elreon route. Not only do you trade a couple stats on your rings/amulets for a couple nodes, it also allows you to use an extra Aura (which in my case is grace). Depending on the quality of your Elreon pieces you lose almost nothing while gaining massive survivability. The only noteworthy downside is that you can't use any multiplier on your 6 Link unless your use tripple elreon pieces, which in turn disallow you from using Voll's Devotion (which is quite affordable with the introduction of Divination cards, might be something to add to your guide).

" I am confused on why you put in VP then went out of the way to get life regeneration? Am I missing something? |

What's the function of Arctic Armor if you're typically in motion with cyclone?
Really intrigued by this concept, will have to try it on my next char :) |
