First fix your flasks. Have a look at my setup. They are a big part of your survival, you pretty much need to spam them. They are top priority.

Link your Herald of Ice with life leech, it will help a lot during trash. Has no effect on single target though.

Put your barrage links in order. COC gem casts spell gems in the order they are linked.
Top left is number 1, bottom right is number 6. First you want to cast AM then your damage spell.
So the last links in your chest should be in this order, AM + Spell 1 + Spell 2.

Its not a good idea to use the same elemental damage spell. Best to use a fire + cold, or cold + lightning, etc. This helps to bypass some monsters resistances.

If you not planning to use RF any time soon, get a spell shield with life and resist.

You don't need physical damage to leech with warlord's mark and life leech gem.

Your amulet can be enchant with life. You can enchant your rings also.

You should have taken life nodes first before taking spell damage nodes. It wont matter at later levels though.

Jewels that need just 1 skill point are more beneficial. Start buying jewels. Usually a jewel can have stats that worth 2-3 skill points.

You have 2 skill points going up to Conduit? Why?
If you needed INT you should taken the 30INT node on the way to Acrobatics.
You shouldn't have crossed over from the Blood drinker node.

Did I mention you need to fix your flasks? :)

Also I tried with attack speed jewel and passive which boosts to 2.99 aps, but the proc rate is the same as the 2.29 aps.
