but I would be afraid of dying to discs or such stuff, with this build I died only twice so far, both times to lag where I found myself suddenly in a group of mobs. |

I've been playing around with conc effect instead of chance to ignite in my 6L setup. I think I like it better. I killed the spider forest hillock on a +30% life map before he could transform and take out his sword.
The loss quality bonus on chance to ignite doesn't matter much if you can kill almost anything with just the increased duration from quality elemental proliferation. Only downside is that ele reflect is a bit sketchy. I have kaom's now so I should be fine as long as I don't go full retard. With this setup, and a 17% fire damage neck that I don't have yet, I will have 39.6k dps on explosive arrow if it ignites on the first explosion. EDIT: Still not 100% sure what I like better. No chance to ignite makes things a lot more RNG based. In groups I probably wouldn't be able to use flamability so I would only have a 30% chance to ignite, compared to 74% chance to ignite with chance to ignite. My elemental proliferation is only 7% (I found it so the price was right) so the burning duration isn't amazing, but I think I will check it out as well and report my experiences plus I only have a Carcass Jack so we can get a bit different perspectives. I do have a question for Pastromy or Deltrus, at what point should I feel confident soloing Piety. I was clearing Lunaris Level 3 with no issues but I don't want to die and I'm not sure how hard she hits. Current stats are 5.5k health, 80/80/80/-60 res, 250 lps, 4k armor (before a granite), I'm just about to hit level 77, should I be good? Am I too worried? Sometimes I freak myself out. Lacks some resist, but does its job :) Currently using Hrimnors Resolve as helm. Is it enough for end game or does it lack too much hp/res? Btw, its kinda funny that u got a 6L quill rain combined witg an unlinked 4S carcass jack :p " You are more than ready to smack that bitch up :) Shes doesnt hit very hard when u are capped. I wouldn't know about piety. I have never fought her on merciless. I usually just get someone to rush me through act 2-3 as soon as I am done act 1 so that I can get the extra passive points.
You should be fine, I think. Just make sure you have like 5k hp, shock dispel potions, and capped resists. Also be very careful around the tentacle miscreations as you can get cursed with vulnerability and get stun locked. @LuckyEiner I like IIR/IIQ on a helm too much to give it up for Hrimnor's. If you really want to go full dps then Kaom's + Hrimnor's might be alright. Fire damage on rings/neck/q fire pen already give you a ton of increased damage on your EA, so getting even more has diminishing returns. Nice amulet; I can't find one similar to that anywhere. First of all I want to thank you Pastromy for sharing this build with us.
I think this version of your skilltree is perfect for my level. There is however one question left. I asked myself if it would be possible to 5l or 6l a ranged totem to explosive arrow, get ancestral bond and create a dual totem version of this build? If it is possible you could ad (6l) gmp for insane mode and don't have to worry about reflect at all. And you wouldn't need bm. "Yes, it is perfectly fair. It just sucks ass."

Effect vs Chance to Ignite: I think u do a lot of damage anyway with this build and a few +fire dmg stats on your gear or tree. In a lvl 69 map I still burn down almost everything with 5 charges, that is not fire resistant. If I would kill everything with the explosion itself, the IIR + IIQ culling strike would be useless imo. |

" I have actually started to swap Increased AOE with Concentrated Effect for boss fights. I just wrecked Piety by swapping it out, I think it took about 3 or 4 five stacks to wreck her. It also works in maps since usually by the time I get to the boss I have more or less cleared the area. |

Chance to ignite and conc effect instead of increased aoe. The playstyle changes a bit when enemies are spread out; you have to fire 1 arrow at each enemy instead of 5 at one. But even fire resistant enemies die in less than five seconds, and they also ignite every time. I am considering getting the two extra 4% aoe nodes. Usually, though, everything gets the burn proliferated to them. In maps like tunnel with very compact areas, I don't even notice the loss of increased AoE. I also switch out conc effect for increased AoE on reflect maps. I never would do reflect maps while tired and I only throw out 2 arrows max. With conc effect I one shot pretty much any boss; that catacombs boss died in 4 seconds. It is really fun.
