Item Filters
Another thing we need GGG, is the ability to switch/toggle rulesets... as in multiple. If I'm group mapping I never want to see scrolls/augs/trans, etc. If I'm farming solo I might. I'm sure there are many other examples where multiple filters on the same character would be necessary to the player.

" Why would you need 4 lines for socket group? Just put in Socketgroup GGGB if unlinked and G-G-G-B if linked. If partially linked G-G-GB would also be easy to parse. One line is good enough, no? Edit: I can see where you might want what you suggested. The easiest solution I can think of, for the user not GGG, is to implement another option OffColourSockets = x. Combine that with "Sockets", "LinkedSockets" and "SocketGroup" where required and you will get what you are looking for. GGG will have to implement a little bit of error checking to make that work with the current ruleset but nothing major. An interesting example and a very good example of why a GUI would be a whole lot better... error checking takes place immediately in a GUI when done properly so no invalid data can be entered. With scripts the best we can hope for is a line#/code telling us where the error occurs = more work for us to try and decipher the problem. Edit2: I have decided that either GGG has no idea how to program a GUI to handle rulesets (linux anyone? or even windows firewall?) or that GGG has not been honest with us in their response... they know it will cost them more time which they don't want to invest. So, it shouldn't be too hard to make a single filter that works from level 1 to 100. Level 1 to 5 shows all items Level 5 to 20 shows magic or better Level 21+ rare or better Always show 5 link, 6 socket, maps, currency, etc. But this would need to be done via item level though correct? |

" If you are talking char lvls then req lvl > ilvl. Even though i do think that list is a bit off. I went to lvl 50 with only whites and blues. personal tastes i guess. |

This is a great solution. I love it when a developer isn't afraid to get a little advanced to solve a complex problem. In a time when games are getting more and more dumbed down this is refreshing to see. This makes it easy for anyone to make the perfect script, or find a community made script that fits their needs.

I am hoping that we will have a command line to load the scripts on the fly like
"/load_itemfilter good_stuff.flt" |

" or nothing at all, like diablo:ros :) pickup only items with beam on it AND when you hover it shows green text :) |

Is there somewhere we can hear all the drop sounds?
And can we have custom drop sounds? Thanks. Last edited by Autkast#6413 on Apr 9, 2015, 5:47:13 PM

I would like to know if it's possible use argb for the colors to get ones that aren't opaque. This would help me a lot, thanks.
