Where do you see the Uniques, from in-game links? OP hasn't been updated with anything new yet..

Well damn, Rightous Fire is now easily sustainable:

75% + 4% (purity not Inner Force) + 5% (elemental adaptation) + 8% (new unique) = 92%.

Required % life regen to sustain: 8%

All % life regen nodes on trees = 7.4%

Vitality % life regen = 1.5%

Net gain: 1.1% life regen per second.

And it autmatically turn RF off when on low life. Damn.

Edit: Inner Force makes you take more damage. Cannot be taken

It is not that easy to get all life regen nodes and go for spell damage build.

It doesn't work. Unless one of the 4 new Uniques adds 1% Life Regen (not on Low Life), then you'll be 1% regen short. You'd slowly lose health, reversable by Ruby Flasks, but the constant stress of having to keep Endurance Charges up and having to Ruby Flask every minute or so just isn't fun..

As for spell damage, the 86% from RF and the few nodes you can take more than make up for not being a non-RF spell damage oriented tank build.

I've got my fingers crossed on a 1%+ Life Regen Unique! With 8k+ HP, RF would not only make your spells strong, but burn mobs to a crisp, all while being tanky. And you could turn RF off, and never die because of your innate regen/resists.

Well that would be sick. I understand that you can have shit ton of spell damage, since its MORE not increased. I calculated that you can get 7.4% life regen without endurance charges, add vitality with inner force (about 2%) and boom you have 9,4% with that shield, purity and passive (93% resistance) so you have about 7% damage as fire add those 9,4% life regen from passives and aura, boom you have extra 2,4% life regen. (tho the only damage skill you gonna use is prolly gonna be rf xD).

They've been posted on the last few pages by users finding them. OP probably isn't online right now.

I've done the math. Even with Endurance Charges, you wouldn't have enough Regen to outdo RF's damage on a Life Oriented RF build.

You'd be off by about 1%.

I've done this math before. You are definitely off by roughly 1% if it was Saffell Flame, but not with this new unique.

Troll's Blood: 1.5%
Golem's Blood: 1.5%
Near Templar starting area: 1%
Near Duelist starting area: 1%
Next to Troll's Blood: 0.4%
Next to Golem's Blood: 0.4% 2x
Middle of the tree area: 0.4% 3x
Vitality: 1.5%

Total: 8.9%

Max resist provided by the new unique: 75 + 5 + 4 + 8 = 92. 8% is required to sustain

Unviable build tester.

95% Crit Build Without Charges [0.10.1c]:

Still wondering if you would do more damage with rf (pure hp/hp regen) and some spells or without rf but going normal route (some hp/spell damage/cast speed nodes and such).
75% base cap + 5% passive + 4% Purity + 5% Saffell = 89%
RF damage = 100% of you life - 89% = 11%
7.4% Regen from Passives + 1.5% from Vitality + 1.2% Endurance Charges (at 6 Charges, 0-1 at most times) = 10.1 (8.9 with no Charges)

As you can see, you'd be off by 0.9-2.1 % Life Regen/Max Resists.

OH, there IS a new Unique that adds Max Resists/Life Regen?! I didn't know, I checked 3 pages back and didn't see anything, so I decided to wait for op to update... If there is something that adds more max resists, then yes, it would work, and my wish has come true!

page 337 new shield 8% max fire
IGN: Bainling
The problem is that this shield is lvl65...you basically have to get to lvl65 as a non-righteous fire build, until you can use this...unless you want to try using righteous fire when it's not negated, which I think is annoying and just not that effective.
