Has anyone had the new currency books dropped for them yet? http://www.pathofexile.com/item-data/currency I figured this is the first thread that I would actually see them linked and verified in.

Haven't heard of nor seen anyone with one. They'd be impossibly OP (unlt'd skill points), and worth more than all the currency in-game combined....
UNLESS... Unless you are capped at using 5-ish per character. Ever. They'd still be worth 10+ mirrors...which nobody has. |

The allflame placeholder model suggests they were never completed. Id guess they were to be the rewards for skill/respec quests, but the devs decided to just give the players the rewards directly instead. Im almost certain these will never be random drops.

The description also appears to not be very polished. Still, seems odd that they're still officially listed.
Don't think it would be quite that expensive anyway. 10 mirrors would provide a much larger bonus than any single passive node. You'd have to have near-perfect gear and be near fully leveled before it would be worth it. |
