Yeah, Curse Reflection works just the same as damage reflection - when you are [cursed/damaged], the things which [cursed/damaged] you is also [cursed/damage] with the same properties (reflected curses have same duration and magnitude, reflected damage has same mitigatability - reflected attack damage can be evaded and blocked, for example).

The only difference is we don't have just "damage reflection" in the game, we have "reflects 20% of damage", so only a percentage of the damage is reflected (but it still has all the same properties, as explained above). Since curses don't have an "amount" like damage, curse reflection is total.

If I crit a mob with 'reflects 20% damage', can I evade the damage that dealts back? Is it treated like a crit, so I could roll for taking damage from it as if I had not crit?

edit: unrelated to the above, but would Acrobatics from Hyrri's Ire Zodiac Leather stack with passive skill Acrobatics?

If the crit you applied to the monster could be evaded, then yes.

No - the damage has been applied to the monster as a cirt, it's "crit-ness" is locked in. The reflection isn't a completely separate damage, it's part of the damage you dealt, which was determined to be a crit.

no, this is answered in the op.
How about reflected elemental damage, does that still remember whether the original source of the elemental damage was an Attack or a Spell, and treat block chance accordingly?

Why doesn't reflected damage stun or apply elemental status effects then?
I really like the shield, it not only can be a slight unknown and surprise factor in PVP, but it is a double edge sword for the wielder as well as the person who casts the curse, should lead to some fun oh shit moments.

Yes (mostly - there's a corner case relating to spell block chance I need to clear up, which will be fixed).

Because it can't be dealt as actual damage (similar to how minion instability used to be). Resistances are calculated, and then the 'damage' is subtracted directly from life.
Reflected damage will use the same new tech as MI soon, but we haven't had time to do that yet. It is possible you'll still be unable to stun yourself with reflected damage because stunning yourself with an action causes an infinite loop, but the new tech may allow us to get around that.
Oh god, are you implying reflect monsters will allow us to freeze ourselves in the future? How frightening.

It's unlikely they'd reflect enough to actually cause a freeze, but in the case they did, they should do so.
I like that curse reflection shield. Right now it might be a bit too strong, but that's more so due to the strength of curses themselves. There could/should be some way of removing curses (such as via flask) so that a Massive curse-fest isn't the only thing that happens in the game.

I'm also wondering WTF would happen if two people were cursing each other who both had this shield? how many curses would apply to a person at once? Typically if an ally cast over an existing double curse it would change to a single curse, which makes me wonder if the same sort of thing would happen here (which would result in some strange curses being flung to neutralize the curse that's on them)

I assume that the person who has the least amount of simultaneous curses possible would be the limiting factor, and allow himself to overwrite 3 curses on him with just 1 curse (of his choosing) if his opponent has this shield.
