It's probably got either a higher item level than it's required level or a vastly higher item level than it's required level, making it either a lot less likely or entirely impossible that it would have said effect on said race. if I understand my mechanics, which I might not!

I know alot of people would be against this but on Endgame I would love to see more dedicated roles, I.e reason to see or have in your group a very tank heavy character that can attract and soak most of the damage.

Still hoping that some sort of Healing or Energy shield replenishment skills or something for totem come along, I know its never designed to be main stream but would love to see more dedicated support roles, besides curses and Aura's

Dunno if you read my whole analysis but that ES-on-block effect is going to go a long way toward doing what you're talking about.

I don't really get the connection with my post, though :). Kaom's extrinsic stat values ---> rolecasting in parties. Don't get it. Boggle ~

Half the reason why we don't see this right now I think is because nobody's really demoed an insanely powerful tank yet. People complain about how it's impossible to tank the big guys pretty frequently. Even tank-builds have to kite the boss room in about any map. But, I notice GGG tiptoeing around some of these issues, because the scaling on gear seems to be very carefully chosen. Mark and the others probably KNOW it can be tanked, they just don't want to hand out the answers.

It's also hard to tank and still contribute solid DPS to the group. And also, solo clear speed is still king because grouping has at best pretty mixed benefits and drawbacks. So basically, if you want to tank it has to make up as much time on the boss as you lost while farming. HMMM....

But there are quite a few approaches people aren't trying right now.

Hey guys I was just wondering what sort of restrictions there are when creating your own unique?? I was considering upgrading to diamond, could any of the diamond members give me some info of the process??
My Limbsplitter dropped on Brutus in normal difficulty. I've been playing a bit with that character. My passives are layed out to become a dual wielding Duelist, so I don't even have any bonuses for two-hand weapons or axes, and in act 2 of the second difficulty I'm still one or two hitting everything.

I have a Heavy Strike gem with a couple of increased damage supports in it for boss fights. When my aura is on and I cast Phase Run before, my first hit shows over 1500dps. Even more when I build up my frenzy charges...

Perfectly balanced lol.

I see guides after game launch... roll a melle, get a limbsplit -> faceroll whole game till maps.

Many uniques needs revamp/nerf/balancing/changes.

How this unique (and others that are 'pure power' and 'best in slot' - we have many of these already) fits in design philosophy stated in Unique Dev Diary?
Something like Limbsplit is I win button, nothing more.
I cant even imagine something like that in PvP.
