Hey mate, try this pathing for your skill tree: 110 points

This is if you want to go full out on dps. Your original tree has much easier access to good life nodes, but this one includes wrecking ball. I'd prefer your original route if I were planning at any point to stack 200%+ life.

That being said, here's the axe tree I'm going for:109 points

Major stats:
-202% life
-510% increased phys damage
-79% increased attack speed

Looking pretty good so far :D


Also, 5 aps without multistrike? Wow! What's you tooltip dps with multistrike in place of fire pen?

Thanks Etherfire for the tree, it was better than mine and is the one i'm using atm, with slight modfication.

Updated the build @ level 88 with all dps, AoE and life nodes complete.

Changes:

- The gem limitation of Kaom's made me change to Carcass Jack.
- With the extra gem slots, i was able to introduce flicker as the double curser, instead of the cumbersome leap slam.
- rewrote the guide to reflect the changes.
- Added a video:

which showcases the fire damage, the enhanced burn effect and the clear speed of flicker-cleave (as fast as a TC map allows, that is).

The build is almost complete as the the final 5 nodes will be dedicated to Endurance Charges and i will have a total of 7 Charges.

I recently respecced my marauder to this build and I'm enjoying it.

Quick question though, what's the purpose of proliferating the burn if most of the ignited enemies are destroyed on kill by pyre?

They explode and disappear if you kill them personally with sword. Those that burn to death still proliferate.

Just pointing out what I think is a mistake : where do you see that you have 30% MORE damage against ignited enemies ? If you think Celestial Punishment gives MORE damage, you're wrong, it's increased damage, so really not as powerful as you think it is ^^
