Going to reread this thread when I get my beta key. Thanks for the guide and thanks to the mod who stickied it.

The max number of sockets on an item is six and as long as all the sockets are linked together (even if they're not directly adjacent to each other) they can all support each other. If you have multiple copies of a skill gem (don't need to be the same level) you can have them linked to different support gems in different items and get all the same bonuses.

Two questions need to be added to the main FAQ on the left hand side of the page navigation (under the "media" link).

Q: Will items I purchase through microtransactions carry over to the full release of the game?

Q: Will characters that I create in the beta carry over to the main game?

I'm sure these are answered somewhere on this forum, but I am having a slightly difficult time finding these written out. For simplicities sake, they should just be put in the main FAQ.

Q1: Right now the only microtransactions available are the extra stash tabs. Whatever stash tabs you buy from the shop will still be yours when the game goes to OB.

Q2: There will be a full character wipe at the time of open beta. Your characters will still exist, they'll just all be re-set to level 1. Point of this is to allow you to keep your identity in the community (you still have the same character names, but you have to start over)
