[1.3] The Return of the Frozen Orb Sorc | Budget Three Dragons Ball Lightning Freezer

I tried this build in 1m league as well (crit version in SC) and I adore it! I'll definitely play it somehow on Standard. Also, it costed me only 12 chaos for 3 uniques + 8 chaos for 5L (added PCoC). Freezing rares, Living Blood, Guardian and even some bosses and exiles was also very useful for efficient leveling.

Wow, just returned here after a pretty long abstinence from the forums (playing 1mhc takes its toll) - I'm glad you guys like the build.

I'm totally trying to build this when A4 hits as CI crit variant. If anybody has tree advices, I'd be happy to - somehow I can't make it work to get 200% ES, Ghost Reaver and decent crit with "only" 108 points ( ._.)

is Windscreams worth it over Rainbowstride ?

Dudes, I would take Windscream over Rainbowstrides any day. You're saving up so many passives, it's totally worth it! The lack of movespeed hurts though...

Is the crit version passives the definitive tree posted on 1? or did you changed anything? any update on that?

It's not definitive, it's a suggestion. I haven't tried the crit variant yet but I will do in 2.0 when it comes out. I will update this thread then...

i was looking for the perfect icewitch since the game came out.
the feeling when u played a d2 frost nova sorc and cant do anything comparable.

Do you mind telling me why you need 3x 3linked items for the auras when you could put clarity+herald of ice+added lightning dmg and reduced mana, and you could do the same thing for the remaining auras, which would be 3b1r.

It's because I wanted Heralds in +2 to lightning/cold items (although I failed with the shield^^).

Your suggestion is more economic though, having just two reduced manas instead of three seems appealing - I will try this in the 2.0 version. Thanks for the suggestion!
